Educational technology promotes digital media use, yet Indonesian language learning in elementary schools remains conventional, making students less focused and easily bored. Smart TV use is also limited by inadequate facilities, unstable internet, and teachers’ low technological competence. This study aims to analyze the use of Smart TV as a learning media in Indonesian language learning at elementary school and to examine its impact on students’ learning activities at SDN 23 Parit Rantang. The study used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The research subjects consisted of teachers and students who were directly involved in the use of Smart TV in the learning process. Data were collected through observation and interviews, while data analysis used an interactive analysis model consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the use of Smart TV helps teachers deliver Indonesian language learning materials in a more engaging way through videos, images, and digital texts, making students more active and able to understand the material more easily. The use of Smart TV also increases students’ interest, motivation, and concentration in learning. However, several obstacles were found, such as limited facilities, unstable internet connection, and teachers’ limited ability to use technology optimally. Therefore, teacher training and adequate infrastructure support are needed to optimize the use of Smart TV in learning. This study concludes that Smart TV has the potential to become an effective learning media to improve the quality of Indonesian language learning in elementary schools.
