Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine: 1) Implementation of Reward and punishment at MTs Raudlatul Muta'alimin Sawaharjo Moropelang Babat Lamongan. 2) Student discipline in the implementation of rewards and punishments at MTs Raudlatul Muta'alimin Sawaharjo Moropelang Babat Lamongan 3) Supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of rewards and punishments on student discipline at MTs Raudlatul Muta'alimin Sawaharjo Moropelang Babat Lamongan. This research uses qualitative research methods. The subject of this research is MTs Raudlatul Muta'alimin students. Data collection methods in this study are observation, interview and documentation methods. Data analysis techniques used in this study include data reduction, display, and conclusion. The results of this study can be seen that the implementation of Reward and Punishment in improving student learning discipline at MTs Raudlatul Muta'alimin can encourage students to behave disciplined. Rewards are given so that students are motivated to behave in a disciplined manner, Punishment is carried out to reduce rule violations in students. Reward and punishment applied by teachers make students have a disciplined character and behave positively, so that the learning outcomes obtained by students increase to achieve the expected results.

Abstract

The importance of character education in developing students who are not only academically smart but also prossess strong moral and social values. Currently, many students still experience deficient social behavior, such as a lack of discipline, disrespecting and not appreciating others, using foul language, and so on. Therefore, educational strategies are needed that focus not only on academics but also on developing students’ social character. One effort that can be done is trough extracurricular activities. This study aims to describe the process of social character formation in students through extracurricular activities at Nahdlatul Ulama Simo Karanggeneng Junior High School and to analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors in this process. In this study, the researcher used a descriptive qualitative method, and data collection techniques included observations, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the process of social character formation in students through extracurricular activities at Nahdlatul Ulama Simo Karanggeneng Junior High School occurs in stages: introduction, understanding and application, and habituation. Supporting factor s for social character formation through extracurricular activities include high students interest in participating in extracurricular activities, school support, and facilities and infrastructure. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors for social character formation trough extracurricular activities include the external environment, the individual, the family environment.

Abstract

Early childhood still has difficulty in understanding the concept of financial literacy due to the limited learning media that are interesting and appropriate to their developmental stage. Research on financial literacy at Dharma Wanita Balungtawun Sukodadi Kindergarten found that the average student has not been able to understand financial literacy and has not been able to manage the expenditure of pocket money given by their respective parents. This study aims to (1) describe the implementation of Market Day through the Treasure Adventure game to introduce and develop financial literacy at Dharma Wanita Balungtawun Sukodadi Kindergarten. (2) describe the response of early childhood to market day activities through the treasure adventure game in financial literacy learning at Dharma Wanita Balungtawun Sukodadi Kindergarten. The method used is descriptive qualitative, the techniques used include: observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The results of the study (1) market day through treasure adventure games can introduce and develop financial literacy in Dharma Wanita Balungtawun Kindergarten by differentiating money, understanding the value of money and making decisions regarding the wise use of money (2) The children's response to this activity was very positive, shown by enthusiasm, increasing social attitudes such as taking turns, and being able to participate in activities well.
