Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah mendorong perlunya inovasi pembelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam menciptakan media visual dan materi interaktif yang menarik bagi siswa. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi kecerdasan buatan untuk mendukung pembelajaran di kelas. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan di MAN 1 Sarolangun dengan melibatkan 15 guru sebagai peserta. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui beberapa tahap, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan yang terdiri dari penyuluhan mengenai konsep dasar dan urgensi pemanfaatan teknologi digital, pelatihan berbasis praktik dalam menggunakan aplikasi berbasis kecerdasan buatan, pendampingan intensif untuk menghasilkan produk pembelajaran, serta tahap evaluasi melalui angket kepuasan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan guru yang signifikan. Respon peserta terhadap kegiatan juga sangat positif, dengan nilai rata-rata angket berkisar antara 4,67 - 4,93 dari skala 5 pada aspek relevansi, manfaat, pemahaman media, motivasi, dan kepuasan. Guru menyatakan bahwa pelatihan ini membantu mereka memahami penggunaan teknologi modern dan meningkatkan motivasi untuk berinovasi. Berdasarkan hal tersebut disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan ini pengabdian masyarakat dapat menjadi pendekatan baru yang efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru dan memperkuat keterlibatan guru dalam menciptakan pembelajaran inovatif yang sesuai dengan karakteristik generasi digital.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve students' science process skills and learning outcomes through the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on the topic of waves in Grade XI at SMA Negeri 4 Jambi City. This research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which consists of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The study was conducted in three cycles involving 36 students of class XI F1, comprising 11 male students and 25 female students. Data were collected using observation sheets to assess students' science process skills and multiple-choice tests to measure learning outcomes in each cycle. The data were analyzed quantitatively using descriptive statistics based on the percentage of achievement of science process skill indicators and learning mastery. The results showed that the implementation of the PBL model improved students' science process skills from 66.5% in Cycle I to 71.6% in Cycle II and further increased to 80.2% in Cycle III. In addition, students' learning mastery improved from 75% in Cycle I to 89% in Cycle II and reached 92% in Cycle III. Therefore, the Problem-Based Learning model was effective in improving students' science process skills and learning outcomes on the topic of waves.

Abstract

The low conceptual understanding of physics education students, often caused by conventional teaching materials and a lack of self-study guidance, indicates the need for innovation. This research aims to develop a web-based student worksheet (web-LKPD) integrated with the STEM approach and supplemented with scaffolding. The developed web-LKPD is designed to improve the conceptual understanding of physics education students. The method used is research & development with the ADDIE development model (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). The subjects of this study were physics education students at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Jambi University. The instruments included questionnaires, interviews, conceptual understanding tests (pretest and posttest), and student response questionnaires. The data were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative descriptive techniques. The results showed that the developed web-LKPD was highly suitable for use, evidenced by the average feasibility percentage from media experts of 93% and material experts of 83.2% (very good). The product also received a positive response from students (89.7%, very good). Paired t-test analysis concluded that there was a significant difference between the pretest and posttest results, indicating that the web-LKPD has a significant impact on improving students' conceptual understanding.
