Abstract

The problem in this research is whether there is difference of influence of active learning strategy of type search of appraisal with active learning strategy type learn from fellow to student learning result on economic subject at SMA Negeri 10 Palembang ?. The purpose of this research is to know the difference of influence of active learning strategy of type search of appraisal with active learning strategy type learn from fellow to learner result of student in Economic subject at SMA Negeri 10 Palembang. The research is a type of True Experimental Design. Population in this study all students of class X in SMA Negeri 10 Palembang consisting of eleven class which amounted to 416 learners. The sampling technique was taken using Cluster Random Sampling, so selected class X.2 as experiment class and class X.4 as control class. Data collection techniques used tests and observations. The statistic used to test the hypothesis using t-test with significant level (α = 0,05) or 5% and dk = n1 + n2 - 2. Based on data analysis through t-test obtained t count> ttable that t count equal to 34, 90> t table of 1.995. Thus the hypothesis proposed in this study can be accepted truth that there are differences in the influence of active learning strategy type of assessment search with active learning strategy of learning type of fellow to learners' learning outcomes on subjects Economics in state Senior High School 10 Palembang.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the difference of media application effect of website with microsoft powerpoint application to the learning result of class IX students in IPS subjects in SMP N 1 Palembang. The research is a type of Quasi Experimental Design research with nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study is the students of class IX SMP N 1 Palembang odd semester of the academic year 2013/2014 consisting of 7 classes with the number of 212 students. The sample was taken by using cluster random sampling technique and got two classes that is class IX.1 as experiment class which amounted to 30 students and class IX.3 as control class which amounted to 30 students. Technique of collecting data is obtained by using learning result test and observation of learning activity. The statistics used to analyze the data in proof are parametric statistics through t-related tests (for paired samples) with a significance level of 5%, and degrees of freedom dk = n1 + n2 - 2 so (dk = 30 + 30 - 2 = 58) which means t_hitung> t_tabel = 3.14˃ 2.0021 then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. The result of this research conclude that there is difference of influence of web application media with the powerpoint media toward the learning result of class IX students in social studies subject at SMP N 1 Palembang. It can be seen in the learning outcomes of IPS learners who are given media application web site is higher than the results of learning IPS learners who are given media powerpoint. Therefore, the media application of this website and media powerpoint can be used as an alternative for teachers in improving learners' learning outcomes.

Abstract

The transition of KTSP curriculum to the 2013 curriculum requires the ability of teachers to create and develop their own LKS. Lack of training on the preparation of LKS based on Curriculum 2013 for private SMA / SMK teachers in Kecamatan Kemuning Palembang encourages the implementation of devotion activities. this. During this time many who get training are teachers from public schools. This activity aims to improve the knowledge, skills and motivation of trainees about the preparation of LKS based on Kurilnilum 2013 on Economic and Accounting Subjects in SMA / SMK in Kemuning Sub-district Palembang. The target of this activity is expected the teachers of SMA and SMK private sector Kemuning Sub-Palembang can arrange LKS based on Curriculum 2013 on Ekonoini and Accounting subjects. While the form of services in the form of training and LKS prepared by participants in groups. Implementation of this activity using the method of assistance. The results of this observation indicate that this is supported by questionnaires and interviews so that it can be concluded that this training has been able to increase knowledge, skill and motivation in the preparation of LKS based on Curriculum 2013. The weakness encountered in this training is the lack of clarity of the issues raised. Therefore it is recommended to weld problems in LKS using operational verbs.

Abstract

Problem formulation in this research is Is there any difference of influence of strategy of developmentally appropriate practice with strategy to enliven learning atmosphere to student learning result in IPS subject in SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Batu ?. This research design uses true experimental design with pretest posttest control group design. The population in this study is all students of class VIII consisting of 4 classes with a total of 127 students. By using Cluster Random Sampling technique, there are two classes, namely class VIII I as the experimental class which amounted to 32 people and class VIII 2 as the control class which amounted to 32 people. Data collection techniques were obtained using tests and observations. Data analysis technique used is prerequisite test and hypothesis test with t-test formula. Based on the analysis of test data on t-test obtained t arithmetic or 2, 765> 1, 999 then Ho rejected and Ha accepted. Thus the hypothesis proposed in this study is acceptable truth, that there are differences in the influence of strategy developmentally appropriate practice with the strategy of enabling the learning atmosphere of student learning outcomes in the subjects of social studies in SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Batu. Based on the results of observational data analysis in the experimental class that is 93.3% and 88.9% control class so that can be interpreted the learning activities conducted by researchers very well. So it is suggested to the teacher to apply the strategy of developmentally appropriate practice in the learning process

Abstract

This research is entitled "The Effect of Grade Clarification Learning Model towards Students’ Social Concern within Social Science Lesson at SMP Negeri 45 Palembang." The core problem of this research is going to see whether there is effect of Grade Clarification Learning Model towards Students’ Social Concern within Social Science Lesson at SMP Negeri 45 Palembang. The population of this this research are the students of class VIII consisting of 286 students and the samples are taken by using the techniques of Cluster Random Sampling and obtained class VIII 2 as samples totaling 40 learners. This study uses research methods form Pre-Experimental Design with design studies One-group pretest posttest. Data collection techniques in research using questionnaire and observation. The statistics are used to analyze the data in statistical parametric verification is through a hypothesis test (t-test) using t-test formula product moment and significance level (α) = 5% and df = n-2. From the hypothesis testing results obtained t = 46.56> table = 1.686 then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. This shows that there is a learning model values clarification influence on the attitudes of social awareness of learners in social studies in SMP 45 Palembang. Therefore, it is advisable for teachers to implement learning model truth-values in social studies learning as an alternative to improve the caring attitude social learners.

Abstract

The research problem is that whether there is difference in the effect of the application of PAIKEM GEMBROT Learning Model to the students’ learning Motivation on Social science Subject at SMP Negeri 45 Palembang. The population takes all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 45 Palembang. By using the Cluster Random Sampling, the students of class VII.4 are selected as the experiment class and class VII.5 as the control class. Data analysis technique used is the t-test invitation significant level (α = 0.05). Based on the data analysis, it obtained t count equal to 6.62 and 1.99 t table so the hypothesis proposed in this study may be accepted, that there are differences in the effect of the application of learning models PAIKEM GEMBROT with thematic learning model to the motivation of learners in the social science studies. It is therefore advisable for teachers to use learning model PAIKEM GEMBROT as an alternative learning in increasing the motivation of learners.

Abstract

This research discusses about the understanding of authentic assessment on social studies in Junior High School Ogan Ilir. The formulation of the problem is how the understanding of teachers in plan, execute, and report on authentic assessment system on social studies in Junior High School Ogan Ilir. The variables of this research is the understanding of teachers to authentic assessment. This research uses qualitative method. The subjects were teachers grade VII and VIII on Junior High School Ogan Ilir, which using curriculum 2013 totaled 10 social studies teachers. Data were collected through interviews and documentation techniques. Data obtain using triangulation tested. The result show that understanding authentic teachers in step (1) planning assessment, teachers entered good categories with an average score of 79,34, phase (2) the implementation of the assessment, the teachers entered good categories with an average score of 71,11 %, and a stage (3) assessment report, the teachers entered into very good understanding of the categories with an average score of 86%. Teachers should always be given about authentic assessment system, then the assessment is made simpler for easy to used and applied by teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect Edmodo media on learning outcomes of students in economic subjects in SMAN 1 North Indralaya. This research included in this type of experimental study design form one group pretest - posttest design. The study population was all students of class X IPS SMAN 1 North Indralaya consisting of two odd semester classes 2014-2015 totaling 62 learners. Samples were taken using cluster random sampling technique, and didapatlah class as a class X IPS 2 samples with the number of students as many as 32 people. Data collection techniques using tests and observation. The statistics are used to analyze the data is using t-test with df = n-2 level signifikat (α = 0.05). Based on tests performed data analysis, t-test results showed that the value of t = 5.4537> table = 1.697. Thus in this study Ho rejected and Ha accepted that there is influence that social media signifikat Edmodo to the learning outcomes of students. The mean learning outcomes of students increased from 44.12 into 86.40. Therefore, it is advisable for teachers to use the media Edmodo as one alternative to improve the learning outcomes of students.
