Abstract

Abstrak Gangguan mental emosional (GME) merupakan kondisi yang ditandai dengan gejala kecemasan, depresi, dan keluhan somatik yang banyak terjadi pada remaja, terutama remaja putri. Pola konsumsi dan status gizi diduga berperan dalam memengaruhi kondisi tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan status gizi dan frekuensi konsumsi gorengan terhadap GME pada remaja putri usia 16–18 tahun di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain potong lintang dengan data Survei Kesehatan Indonesia (SKI) 2023 pada 15.075 responden. GME diukur menggunakan Self-Reporting Questionnaire (SRQ-20) (cut-off ≥6). Status gizi ditentukan berdasarkan IMT/U, dan frekuensi konsumsi gorengan dikategorikan menjadi jarang, kadang-kadang, dan sering. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara status gizi dengan GME (p<0,05). Selain itu, frekuensi konsumsi gorengan juga menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan dengan GME (p<0,05). Namun, distribusi proporsi GME antar kategori frekuensi konsumsi gorengan tidak menunjukkan pola yang konsisten. Penelitian longitudinal diperlukan untuk mengkaji hubungan kausal secara lebih jelas. Kata Kunci: Status gizi, frekuensi konsumsi gorengan, gangguan mental emosional, remaja putri Abstract Emotional mental disorders (EMD) are conditions characterized by symptoms of anxiety, depression, and somatic complaints, commonly found among adolescents, particularly girls. Dietary patterns and nutritional status are considered important factors influencing these conditions. This study aimed to analyze the association between nutritional status and the frequency of fried food consumption with EMD among adolescent girls aged 16–18 years in Indonesia. This cross-sectional study used data from the 2023 Indonesian National Health Survey (SKI) with 15,075 respondents. EMD was measured using the Self-Reporting Questionnaire (SRQ-20) with a cut-off score of ≥6. Nutritional status was based on BMI-for-age, while fried food consumption was categorized into rarely, occasionally, and frequently. The results showed that nutritional status was significantly associated with EMD (p<0.05). In addition, the frequency of fried food consumption was also significantly associated with EMD (p<0.05).However, the relationship was non-linear, indicating the need for cautious interpretation and further longitudinal studies.
