Abstract

This training served as a practical implementation of the theoretical concepts learned by students during their coursework, aimed at supporting a more applied learning process. The training employed a combination of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) methods to encourage active, collaborative, and contextual learning. The activity was attended by 32 students from various universities in East Surabaya. The results showed that 22 participants (68.75%) achieved scores above the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM ? 60), with significant improvement observed in both logical aspects (conceptual understanding) and technical aspects (SPSS operation skills). The integration of PBL and FGD proved effective in enhancing students’ critical thinking, analytical ability, and practical skills in statistical data processing. Overall, this activity contributed to improving technological literacy and students’ readiness in developing scientific papers based on valid and reliable data.ABSTRAKPelatihan ini merupakan bentuk penerapan praktis dari teori yang telah diperoleh mahasiswa selama perkuliahan untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran yang lebih aplikatif. Metode pelatihan yang digunakan mengintegrasikan Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) guna mendorong pembelajaran yang aktif, kolaboratif, dan kontekstual. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 32 mahasiswa dari berbagai perguruan tinggi di wilayah Surabaya Timur. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan bahwa 22 peserta (68,75%) berhasil mencapai nilai di atas Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM ? 60), dengan peningkatan yang signifikan pada aspek logis (pemahaman konsep) maupun aspek teknis (pengoperasian SPSS). Penerapan kombinasi metode PBL dan FGD terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, analitis, serta keterampilan praktis mahasiswa dalam pengolahan data statistik. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan literasi teknologi dan kesiapan mahasiswa dalam menyusun karya ilmiah berbasis data yang valid dan ilmiah.

Abstract

Natural rubber (NR) and Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) exhibit poor miscibility due to their differences in their solubility parameters. To improve compatibility, a PAN-co-PMMA compatibilizer was synthesized by copolymerizing acrylonitrile (AN) and methyl methacrylate (MMA) with potassium persulfate (K2S2O8) as the initiator. This study investigates the influence of initiator concentration on the characteristics of PAN-co-PMMA and evaluates the mechanical performance of NR/NBR blends incorporating the compatibilizer for rubber seal applications. PAN-co-PMMA was synthesized using a water-ethanol co-solvent at 65°C for 3 hours with a stirring speed of 400 rpm, using initiator concentrations of 1, 2, 3, dan 4 %wt and an AN: MMA ratio of 90:10 (%wt). The drying was conducted at 100°C for 3 hours. IR analysis confirmed successful copolymerization through the appearance of characteristic C≡N and C=O absorption bands. The addition of PAN-co-PMMA reduced curing time and significantly enhanced the tensile strength of the NR/NBR blends.

Abstract

Indonesia holds vast marine potential that remains underutilized, particularly in downstream processing within the micro-scale seafood culinary sector. Seafood-based eateries play a critical role in strengthening local economies and supporting the implementation of the blue economy. However, these businesses still face structural challenges, including limited technological adoption, market access barriers, and unstructured business models. This study aims to formulate and prioritize development strategies for seafood-based microenterprises using a combination of the Business Model Canvas (BMC), SWOT analysis, and the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). A mixed-method approach was employed, incorporating interviews, field observations, and expert surveys. The BMC analysis showed that the business had some major strengths, such as a wide range of menu items, the use of fresh ingredients every day, and a high level of customer loyalty. At the same time, weaknesses included limited visibility in locations, limited digital integration, and conventional operational systems. The SWOT analysis generated five strategic alternatives, which were evaluated using AHP based on five criteria: sustainability, technical feasibility, local economic impact, business competitiveness, and implementation cost. The findings indicate that the internal strengthening strategy—comprising staff training, business expansion, and supplier selection—is the most feasible and prioritized approach. However, this strategy does not fully embody the core principles of the blue economy. Therefore, policy interventions and cross-sector collaboration are essential to integrate micro-scale seafood businesses into a sustainable and inclusive maritime ecosystem.

Abstract

The maritime sector plays a vital role in global trade and increasingly requires digital transformation to address operational complexity, logistics disruptions, and supply chain resilience challenges. This study aims to analyze digital transformation technologies in maritime supply chains through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The review followed the PRISMA protocol, including identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion stages. Literature searches were conducted using Scopus, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar with keywords related to digital transformation, maritime supply chains, smart ports, blockchain, and IoT. From 35 identified articles, 20 peer-reviewed studies published between 2020 and 2026 were selected after screening and full-text evaluation. The findings indicate that technologies such as IoT, AI, Blockchain, Big Data, ERP systems, and smart port technologies improve operational efficiency, transparency, real-time monitoring, and supply chain resilience. However, successful implementation depends on infrastructure readiness, cybersecurity, policy support, interoperability, and human resource capabilities.
