Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesalahan afiks yang terjadi pada status dan komentar di akun Instagram @ayutingting edisi Mei 2023. Fokus utama dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi jenis kesalahan afiksasi yang muncul serta penyebab terjadinya kesalahan tersebut, baik yang berkaitan dengan afiks yang tidak sesuai dengan aturan bahasa Indonesia maupun penggunaan afiks yang tidak tepat dalam konteks digital. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dengan mengumpulkan status dan komentar yang dipublikasikan pada akun Instagram @ayutingting sepanjang bulan Mei 2023. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan linguistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa jenis kesalahan afiksasi yang sering terjadi, di antaranya kesalahan dalam penggunaan prefiks, sufiks, dan konfiks. Beberapa faktor yang menyebabkan kesalahan ini antara lain pengaruh bahasa gaul atau informal, ketidaktahuan aturan bahasa yang baku, dan pengaruh penggunaan media sosial yang cenderung lebih fleksibel dalam hal tata bahasa. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam memahami kesalahan bahasa yang terjadi dalam konteks media sosial serta pentingnya pembelajaran bahasa yang lebih aplikatif dalam dunia digital.

Abstract

The Nyadran tradition is one of the Javanese cultural rituals that is still maintained as part of social and religious life. In Mojodadi Village, Kedungpring District, Lamongan Regency, the Nyadran tradition is unique for blending Hindu-Javanese elements with Islamic teachings. This phenomenon indicates the practice of cultural syncretism that not only survives but also adapts to the belief system of modern society. This study aims to describe the form of syncretism and reveal the values ??contained in the implementation of the Nyadran Tradition in Mojodadi Village. This study uses a qualitative, descriptive method. Data collection techniques include direct observation during the implementation of the Nyadran ritual, in-depth interviews with caretakers, religious leaders, village officials, and community supporters of the tradition, and documentation in the form of photos, videos, and recordings of ritual speech. Data analysis is carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and systematic conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that syncretism in the Nyadran Tradition is apparent in three main dimensions, namely the verbal dimension characterized by the combination of Javanese ujub and mantras with the recitation of Yasin, tahlil, and Islamic prayers; the material dimension seen in the use of ambeng, flowers, and offerings that are reinterpreted as a form of charity; and the spatial-temporal dimension reflected in the choice of the lake as the location of the ritual and the month of Maulud as the time of implementation. In addition, the Nyadran Tradition contains religious-spiritual, social-collective, and moral-ethical values ??that strengthen the community's cultural identity. Thus, the Nyadran Tradition serves as a bridge between ancestral cultural heritage and Islamic teachings, and it plays a social, spiritual, and educational role for the people of Mojodadi Village.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the understanding that song lyrics can be treated as literary texts that contain symbols and open up space for interpretation. Nadin Amizah's album Untuk Dunia, Cinta, dan Kotornya (For the World, Love, and Filth) presents reflective lyrics that represent human experiences in various symbolic fields. This study aims to examine the construction of symbolic fields in the song “Tapi Diterima” as part of the album's horizon of meaning through Hans-Georg Gadamer's hermeneutic approach. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with library research techniques. The object of research is the lyrics of the song “Tapi Diterima,” which are treated as symbolic texts and analyzed in relation to the overall meaning of the album. The analysis process is carried out through hermeneutic reading by limiting the interpretation to the horizon of the text, without explicitly involving the empirical reader's horizon or the author's intention. In this position, the researcher is positioned as an explicit reader who enables the understanding of the meaning offered by the text. The results of the study show that the song “Tapi Diterima” constructs a symbolic field composed of dominant symbols and supporting symbols that are internally related. This symbolic field represents existential and relational experiences that are understood as part of a coherent meaning structure in the album Untuk Dunia, Cinta, dan Kotornya. Thus, symbolic meaning is understood as the result of a dialogue between the meaning structure in the text and the process of understanding enabled by the text itself.
