Abstract

Pembiasaan ritual harian di lingkungan pondok pesantren merupakan salah satu strategi pendidikan Islam yang paling mendasar dan berkelanjutan. Namun demikian, kajian tentang bagaimana proses manajemen dijalankan secara sistematis dalam mengelola pembiasaan tersebut masih belum banyak mendapat perhatian akademik yang memadai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan fungsi-fungsi manajemen pendidikan Islam meliputi perencanaan (planning), pengorganisasian (organizing), pelaksanaan (actuating), dan pengawasan (controlling) dalam konteks pengelolaan ritual harian santri di Pondok Pesantren Nurul Qur'an. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam kepada para santri dan ustadz yang terlibat langsung dalam proses pembiasaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pondok pesantren ini telah menjalankan fungsi manajemen secara terstruktur, meskipun masih terdapat beberapa aspek yang memerlukan penguatan, khususnya pada tahap evaluasi dan dokumentasi program. Pembagian peran antara kyai, ustadz, dan santri senior berjalan cukup efektif dalam memastikan keberlangsungan ritual. Selain itu, metode pembiasaan yang diterapkan seperti keteladanan, pengawasan kolektif, dan sistem reward-punishment terbukti mampu meningkatkan kepatuhan santri secara bertahap. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi praktis bagi pengelola pesantren dalam merancang program pembiasaan yang lebih terukur dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The digital transformation of education in Indonesia has evolved from basic service digitization toward data-driven governance increasingly reliant on artificial intelligence. While the integration of artificial intelligence in educational governance promises administrative efficiency and optimized decision-making, it simultaneously raises ethical concerns related to algorithmic bias, accountability, transparency, and the potential erosion of humanistic educational values. This study aims to critically analyze the ethical implications of artificial intelligence deployment in Indonesian educational governance and examine its relevance to strengthening religious moderation as a strategic national education agenda. The research employs a qualitative approach using a critical literature review design combined with policy analysis. Data were drawn from reputable scholarly publications, international policy frameworks, and national regulations concerning digital transformation and religious moderation. The analysis proceeded through thematic identification, normative evaluation grounded in principles of algorithmic justice and human-centered governance, and contextual synthesis within Indonesia’s plural socio-religious landscape. The findings indicate that without a robust ethical framework, artificial intelligence-driven governance risks reproducing structural inequalities and narrowing pluralistic dialogue. This study proposes a conceptual ethical governance model aligned with religious moderation, emphasizing risk mapping, ethical design protocols, meaningful human oversight, public accountability mechanisms, and continuous evaluation. The model offers a normative and operational reference for policymakers and educational institutions to ensure that digital transformation remains aligned with justice, inclusivity, and social cohesion.

Abstract

Digital transformation requires pesantren to preserve religious authority while renewing educational governance without abandoning their values and traditions. This study aims to analyze spiritual leadership at Pondok Pesantren Nurul Islam Karangcempaka, Bluto, Sumenep in maintaining religious authority and directing innovation in educational governance. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing with source and technique triangulation. The findings show that spiritual leadership serves as the foundation of pesantren management through exemplary conduct, trustworthiness, deliberation, and the cultivation of moral discipline. Digital developments do not weaken religious authority, but instead strengthen the role of the kiai and teachers as the primary references. Digital innovation develops gradually, selectively, and remains aligned with the identity of the pesantren. These findings confirm the importance of spiritual leadership in strengthening adaptive, value-rooted pesantren.
