Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk kesalahan pemakaian ragam bahasa baku dalam karya ilmiah mahasiswa serta menentukan jenis kesalahan yang paling dominan. Ragam bahasa baku merupakan ciri utama penulisan ilmiah yang mencakup aspek ejaan, morfologi, dan sintaksis. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis dokumen. Sumber data berupa karya tulis ilmiah mahasiswa (makalah dan artikel) dari beberapa perguruan tinggi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik baca, catat, dan pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesalahan terbanyak terjadi pada tataran ejaan (40%–45%), khususnya pemakaian huruf kapital, penulisan kata depan, dan penggunaan tanda baca. Kesalahan pada tataran morfologis (32,5%) didominasi oleh afiksasi yang tidak tepat, sedangkan kesalahan sintaksis (21,7%) meliputi ketidaklengkapan unsur kalimat dan penggunaan konjungsi yang tidak baku. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap pedoman umum ejaan bahasa Indonesia (PUEBI) masih rendah. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan penguatan pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia baku dan pelatihan penyuntingan mandiri (swasunting) di lingkungan akademik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dinamika penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia di media sosial di kalangan Generasi Z pada era digital. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif melalui observasi terhadap penggunaan bahasa pada berbagai platform media sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Generasi Z cenderung menggunakan bahasa yang lebih fleksibel dan kreatif, seperti bahasa gaul, singkatan, campur kode dengan bahasa asing, serta penggunaan emoji dalam komunikasi digital. Fenomena ini mencerminkan kemampuan bahasa untuk beradaptasi dengan perkembangan teknologi dan kebutuhan komunikasi modern. Namun, penggunaan bahasa yang tidak sesuai kaidah juga berpotensi mengurangi penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia yang baik dan benar. Di sisi lain, media sosial turut berperan dalam memperluas penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia dan memperkenalkan kosakata baru kepada masyarakat. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa dinamika penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia di media sosial merupakan bentuk adaptasi bahasa terhadap era digital yang perlu diimbangi dengan kesadaran untuk menjaga kaidah bahasa sebagai bagian dari identitas nasional.

Abstract

This study examines the pragmatic function of istifhām taqrīrī (rhetorical interrogatives) in Juz ‘Amma of the Qur’an and its representation in English translations. Unlike ordinary interrogatives that seek information, istifhām taqrīrī serves as a rhetorical device to affirm truths, reinforce meaning, and prompt implicit acknowledgment (iqrār) from the audience. Despite its importance, systematic studies on this form, particularly from a pragmatic and translation perspective, remain limited. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach using library research. The primary data consist of Qur’anic verses from Juz ‘Amma, while secondary data are derived from classical works of balāghah and relevant scholarly studies. Data are analyzed through content analysis using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that istifhām taqrīrī primarily functions as taqrīr (affirmation) and ta’kīd al-ḥaqīqah (emphasis of truth), while functions such as tasliyah appear contextually. However, English translations often reduce rhetorical interrogatives into neutral questions or declarative statements, resulting in pragmatic loss and weakened persuasive impact. Therefore, a pragmatic-functional translation approach is needed.

Abstract

This study examines the functional role of fi'il muḍāri' i'rāb in Surah An-Nāzi'āt through an integrated naḥw-tafsīr framework. Previous studies tend to treat i'rāb as a purely formal grammatical category, detached from semantic interpretation, while exegetical studies often overlook grammatical precision. This study addresses that gap by demonstrating that i'rāb is not merely a syntactic marker but an active constituent of Qur'anic meaning. Using a qualitative library research method with a descriptive-analytical approach, the study identifies thirteen fi'il muḍāri' forms in the surah, classified across three i'rāb categories: marfū', manṣūb, and majzūm. The analysis reveals a clear correlation between each inflectional form and its semantic function within the surah's eschatological discourse. The marfū' form, which constitutes 84.6% of the identified forms, operates through istiḥḍār al-ḥāl, rendering future and past events as vivid, immediate realities for the reader. The manṣūb form encodes gradual spiritual transformation within a non-confrontational da'wah strategy. The majzūm form compresses and relativizes worldly time, reinforcing the surah's affirmation of the Hereafter's certainty. These findings demonstrate that the integrated naḥw-tafsīr framework is analytically productive and replicable for examining how grammatical form shapes Qur'anic meaning across different surahs.تتناول هذه الدراسة الوظيفةَ الدلاليةَ لإعراب الفعل المضارع في سورة النازعات، وذلك من خلال إطار منهجي تكاملي يجمع بين علم النحو وعلم التفسير. وقد دأبت الدراسات السابقة على معالجة الإعراب بوصفه ظاهرةً نحويةً شكليةً مجردةً من أبعادها الدلالية، في حين تغفل الدراسات التفسيرية في الغالب عن الدقة النحوية. وتسعى هذه الدراسة إلى ردم هذه الفجوة، بإثبات أن الإعراب لا يُعدّ مجرد علامة تركيبية، بل هو ركيزة فاعلة في تشكيل المعنى القرآني. واتبع البحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي في إطار الدراسة المكتبية النوعية، وقد رُصد في السورة ثلاثة عشر فعلاً مضارعاً، صُنِّفت وفق ثلاث حالات إعرابية: الرفع، والنصب، والجزم. وتكشف نتائج الدراسة عن ارتباط وثيق بين كل صيغة إعرابية ووظيفتها الدلالية في السياق الأخروي للسورة. فالمرفوع، الذي يمثل ٨٤،٦% من الأفعال المرصودة، يُحقق معنى استحضار الحال، إذ يُقرِّب الأحداث الماضية والمستقبلية إلى وعي المتلقي ويجعلها حاضرةً أمامه. أما المنصوب فيُجسّد مسيرة التحول الروحي التدريجي ضمن أسلوب دعوي غير مواجِه. وأما المجزوم فيُقلِّص الزمن الدنيوي ويُنسِّبه، مُعززاً يقينَ الآخرة الذي تقوم عليه السورة. وتُثبت هذه النتائج مجتمعةً أن الإطار التكاملي بين النحو والتفسير منهجٌ ناجعٌ وقابلٌ للتطبيق في دراسة العلاقة بين الصيغة النحوية والمعنى القرآني عبر سور متنوعة.

Abstract

This study examines the importance of preserving the purity of tawhid through a critical analysis of Salaf scholars’ perspectives on the practice of istighāthah. Tawhid, as the core of Islamic teachings, requires that all forms of worship, including supplication and seeking help, be directed solely to Allah. However, in societal practice, istighāthah is often interpreted and performed in various ways, leading to differing scholarly views. This research analyzes the concept, forms, and limitations of istighāthah as defined by Salaf scholars to safeguard the purity of Islamic creed (‘aqīdah). The study adopts a qualitative approach using library research, with data collected from primary sources such as the Qur’an, Hadith, and classical scholarly works, as well as relevant secondary literature. Data are analyzed through content analysis and a theological approach to understand evidences (dalil) and scholarly thought comprehensively. The findings indicate that Salaf scholars emphasize directing istighāthah exclusively to Allah, especially in matters beyond human ability, as directing it otherwise may lead to shirk. Despite this, differences exist regarding intermediary practices, requiring a balanced perspective. In the modern era, istighāthah remains spiritually relevant but faces challenges such as misunderstanding and materialism, highlighting the need for proper understanding.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the frequent errors in the use of affixation in students’ daily conversations that do not conform to the rules of the Indonesian language. This study aims to analyze the forms of affixation errors in the daily conversations of students at STAI Ali bin Abi Thalib. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method with a morphological analysis approach. The data were obtained from students’ informal speech through observation and note-taking techniques. The results show that there are errors in the use of prefixes and suffixes, such as the use of non-standard forms influenced by regional dialects, for example “ambek” which should be “mengambil”. These errors are influenced by the students’ regional language background and their lack of understanding of Indonesian morphological rules. This indicates that the use of language that does not conform to standard rules can affect the quality of communication, especially in academic and formal contexts. Therefore, it is necessary to improve students’ understanding of proper affix usage in daily communication.
