<![CDATA[This study aims to examine the implementation of the Andhap Asor culture in counseling communication using a qualitative approach with a literature review method. The value of Andhap Asor in Madurese culture describes a person as having humble behavior, politeness, and respect for one another. Andhap Asor culture is one of the important values that can influence the dynamics of communication in the counseling process, especially in building a therapeutic relationship between the counselor and counselee. The research method used is a literature review by examining several research sources found in Google Scholar and published between 2021-2026. The keywords used to explore the information are "Madurese culture, Andhap Asor, and counseling communication". The data analysis technique was carried out by collecting groupings and interpreting data to find patterns and meanings of the implementation of Andhap Asor cultural values in counseling communication practices in Madurese society. The results of the study indicate that Andhap Asor cultural values have an important role in increasing the effectiveness of counseling communication, especially in building a harmonious therapeutic relationship between counselors and clients. Values such as humility, politeness, and respect have been shown to create a sense of comfort, increase trust, and encourage clients to be open in expressing problems. Furthermore, the application of Andhap Asor in verbal and non verbal communication also contributes to clarifying messages and minimizing misunderstandings. Therefore, the culture of Andhap Asor can serve as a strategic foundation for local culture-based counseling communication practices.]]>
