Abstract

Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK) merupakan layanan penting dalam dunia pendidikan yang berfungsi membantu peserta didik memahami diri, mengenal lingkungan, mengembangkan potensi, serta menyelesaikan masalah pribadi, sosial, belajar, dan karier. BK tidak berpusat pada pemecahan masalah, namun juga pada peningkatan holistik yang berlandaskan pada berbagai aspek. Landasan historis menjelaskan perkembangan BK dari masa ke masa sebagai respons terhadap kebutuhan masyarakat. Landasan filosofis memberikan dasar pemikiran melalui perspektif ontologis, epistemologis, dan aksiologis. Landasan psikologis menekankan pentingnya memahami perkembangan peserta didik, teori kepribadian, motivasi, serta interaksi pendidikan. Landasan sosial-budaya menuntut konselor memiliki kepekaan terhadap keberagaman nilai, norma, dan tradisi agar layanan sesuai dengan konteks masyarakat. Sementara itu, landasan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi (IPTEK) menegaskan sifat multidisipliner BK dengan dukungan ilmu sosial dan pemanfaatan teknologi modern, termasuk cyber counseling. Dengan memadukan kelima landasan tersebut, layanan BK dapat dilaksanakan secara komprehensif, adaptif, dan relevan dalam menjawab tantangan pendidikan di era globalisasi. Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the Andhap Asor culture in counseling communication using a qualitative approach with a literature review method. The value of Andhap Asor in Madurese culture describes a person as having humble behavior, politeness, and respect for one another. Andhap Asor culture is one of the important values ​​that can influence the dynamics of communication in the counseling process, especially in building a therapeutic relationship between the counselor and counselee. The research method used is a literature review by examining several research sources found in Google Scholar and published between 2021-2026. The keywords used to explore the information are "Madurese culture, Andhap Asor, and counseling communication". The data analysis technique was carried out by collecting groupings and interpreting data to find patterns and meanings of the implementation of Andhap Asor cultural values ​​in counseling communication practices in Madurese society. The results of the study indicate that Andhap Asor cultural values ​​​​have an important role in increasing the effectiveness of counseling communication, especially in building a harmonious therapeutic relationship between counselors and clients. Values ​​​​such as humility, politeness, and respect have been shown to create a sense of comfort, increase trust, and encourage clients to be open in expressing problems. Furthermore, the application of Andhap Asor in verbal and non verbal communication also contributes to clarifying messages and minimizing misunderstandings. Therefore, the culture of Andhap Asor can serve as a strategic foundation for local culture-based counseling communication practices.

Abstract

This study examines the role of career guidance services in shaping students’ work readiness through a literature review approach. This topic is crucial as work readiness is influenced not only by academic achievement but also by career understanding, decision making skills, and psychological preparedness for entering the workforce. Therefore, career guidance services are considered a strategic component in helping students prepare for their future in a more directed and realistic manner. The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the contribution of career guidance services to students’ work readiness based on previous research findings. The method used is a literature study by reviewing scientific articles, national and international journals, and other relevant sources published in recent years. The analysis process is conducted systematically by categorizing, comparing, and synthesizing findings related to the research topic. The results indicate that career guidance services play a significant role in improving self-understanding, career exploration, future planning, and students’ adaptability to workplace demands. In addition, the implementation of innovative and contextual service strategies has been shown to strengthen students’ employability competencies more effectively. This study contributes by providing a comprehensive understanding of the importance of optimizing career guidance services as a strategic effort to develop students’ work readiness sustainably.
