Abstract

This research is motivated by the low analytical thinking ability of students in learning Akidah Akhlak, which is seen from their difficulty in examining religious issues in depth. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of using the SnakeMind Game media, a learning media based on an educational game of moving snakes designed to train students to understand questions, analyze alternative answers, and make appropriate decisions during the learning process. The research was conducted at MAN 2 Tuban using a pre-experimental approach through a one group pretest–posttest design. The research subjects consisted of 28 students of class X-1. Data were collected through analytical thinking ability tests given before and after the application of the media, then analyzed using a paired sample t-test and N-Gain calculation. The results of the analysis showed a significant increase in ability. The average pretest score of 64.04 increased to 82.39 in the posttest. The significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 (<0.05) indicates a significant difference between before and after treatment. Furthermore, the N-Gain value ranged from 0.45 to 0.59, with an average of 0.5127, which falls into the moderate category. These findings indicate that the SnakeMind Game is quite effective in improving students' analytical thinking skills in learning about Aqidah Akhlak. This study has limitations such as a limited sample size, the use of a single class without a control group, and the material focusing solely on Aqidah Akhlak. Therefore, further research is recommended to involve a wider sample, add a comparison group, and test the application of the SnakeMind Game on different materials and educational levels to obtain more comprehensive results.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low motivation, discipline, and consistency of students' recitation of the Qur'an in memorization learning, so that learning innovations are needed that can increase student enthusiasm and involvement in a sustainable manner. As an effort to address this problem, MA Sains Bina Insan Kamil Tuban developed a radio-based On-Air Tahfidz Program as an interactive, educational, and inspiring tahfidz learning medium. This study aims to describe the implementation of the On-Air Tahfidz Program, analyze its role and impact on students' motivation and consistency of recitation, and examine the program's implementation through a SWOT analysis. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The research subjects consisted of the madrasah principal, tahfidz assistant teachers, radio operators, and student participants in the program. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was obtained through source and technique triangulation. The research results show that the On-Air Tahfidz Program was implemented systematically through planning, broadcasting, intensive guidance, and periodic evaluation. This program has been proven to increase students' learning motivation, discipline, self-confidence, and consistency in their recitation, as well as helping improve the quality of their Quran reading and memorization. A SWOT analysis shows that the program has significant strengths and opportunities to be developed as a media-based tahfidz learning innovation in madrasah environments.

Abstract

Sincerity is one of the fundamental values ​​in Islamic teachings, interpreted as an effort to purify intentions from all forms of riya (showing off), ujub (showing off), and worldly interests so that every deed is solely directed to Allah SWT. This concept is explained in depth in Nashaihul ‘Ibad, which emphasizes the importance of purity of heart in every form of worship and human behavior. From a Sufi perspective, sincerity is not only understood as a spiritual dimension, but also as a moral foundation that determines the quality of one’s deeds before Allah. However, the development of the digital era has presented new challenges in implementing the value of sincerity, especially for Generation Z who grew up and developed amidst social media culture. Generation Z is known as a generation that is very active in the digital space through various platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X. Religious activities that were previously personal are now tending to shift to become more open and performative. Phenomena such as sharing worship activities, alms, studies, and religious content are often accompanied by an orientation towards social validation in the form of likes, views, comments, and followers. This condition can influence the orientation of intentions in deeds, thus giving rise to the potential for digital riya (showing off) and the search for public recognition. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the concept of sincerity in Nashaihul ‘Ibad and its relevance to the ethics of charity and content for Generation Z in the digital era. This aims to develop a digital ethic grounded in Islamic spiritual values ​​and strengthen contemporary Sufism studies.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Variations in Qur’anic reading proficiency among Madrasah Aliyah students, particularly in Grade X where some students have not yet mastered the hijaiyah letters and accurate articulation (makharijul huruf), indicate a gap between the expected graduate competency standards and the students’ actual level of Qur’anic literacy at school. This study focuses on examining how the Tilawati-based Tahsin Al-Qur’an program is integrated into the madrasah curriculum and how it contributes to improving students’ reading skills and learning motivation in the 2025/2026 academic year. The research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Data were collected through participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis, and were analyzed using data reduction, data display, and interactive conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the integration of the Tilawati method as a compulsory local content subject establishes a structured and consistent tiered learning system. The implementation of staged evaluations through daily assessments, semester examinations, and munaqosyah promotes progressive improvement in Qur’anic reading skills according to grade level and fosters a clear achievement orientation among students. In addition to enhancing pronunciation accuracy and the application of tajwid rules, the program also strengthens learning motivation through measurable competency standards and a transparent evaluation system. Therefore, the Tilawati-based Tahsin program functions not only as an intervention to improve reading skills but also as a strategic effort to cultivate sustained commitment to Qur’anic learning within the Madrasah Aliyah environment. ABSTRAK Variasi kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an di kalangan peserta didik Madrasah Aliyah, khususnya pada siswa kelas X yang sebagian belum menguasai huruf hijaiyah dan ketepatan makharijul huruf, menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan antara standar kompetensi lulusan dan capaian faktual literasi Al-Qur’an di sekolah. Penelitian ini berfokus pada bagaimana pelaksanaan program Tahsin Al-Qur’an berbasis metode Tilawati diintegrasikan ke dalam kurikulum madrasah serta bagaimana kontribusinya terhadap peningkatan kemampuan membaca dan motivasi belajar siswa Tahun Pelajaran 2025/2026. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan studi dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan secara interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi metode Tilawati sebagai muatan lokal wajib membentuk sistem pembelajaran berjenjang yang terstruktur dan konsisten. Penerapan evaluasi bertahap melalui penilaian harian, ujian semester, dan munaqosyah mendorong peningkatan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an secara progresif sesuai tingkat kelas serta membangun orientasi capaian yang jelas bagi siswa. Selain memperbaiki kualitas pelafalan dan ketepatan tajwid, program ini juga menumbuhkan motivasi belajar melalui standar kompetensi yang terukur dan sistem evaluasi yang transparan. Dengan demikian, program Tahsin berbasis Tilawati tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai intervensi peningkatan keterampilan membaca, tetapi juga sebagai strategi penguatan komitmen belajar Al-Qur’an yang berkelanjutan di lingkungan Madrasah Aliyah.

Abstract

Kurikulum Deep Learning merupakan inovasi kebijakan Pendidikan sebagai Upaya untuk menghadapi tuntutan abad ke-21. Pelatihan Kurikulum Deep Learning dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru di MI Hidayatun Najah dalam menerapkan pembelajaran mendalam, penyusunan modul ajar, rencana pembelajaran mendalam, serta menerapkan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas.  Kegiatan pengabdian Masyarakat ini menggunakan metode Service Learning, dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 75 orang. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kompetensi pedagogic guru di MI Hidayatun Najah Tuban yang terlihat dari 4 aspek, yaitu 1) guru memahami konsep deep learning, 2) guru mampu merancang Rencana Pembelajaran Mendalam (RPM), 3) guru mampu Menyusun modul ajar, dan 4) guru mampu meningkatkan antusiasme, interaktivitas, dan kemandirian belajar siswa. Kegiatan pelatihan ini menjadi sarana pengembangan profesionalisme guru untuk menghadapi tantangan pembelajaran masa kini dan pembentukan kemampuan berpikir mendalam.
