Abstract

Villages that produce plantation commodities have abundant natural resources, especially coffee, cardamom, and ginger. However, the utilization of these resources is still limited to the sale of raw materials without any processing innovations that add value. This community service program aims to empower rural communities through the development of innovative products such as Kopi Jaga, a functional beverage made from coffee, cardamom, and ginger. The implementation methods include mapping potential, field observations, discussions with stakeholders, technical processing training, product trials, and socialization and demonstrations of product manufacturing. The results of the activities show an increase in community knowledge about product processing and packaging techniques, as well as active participation of community groups in the production process. The enthusiasm of the community shows that Kopi Jaga has great potential to be developed into a competitive, high-value product. This innovation plays a role in strengthening the village's identity through the utilization of its unique plantation potential, improving the local economy, and expanding opportunities for home-based entrepreneurship. This program is the first step in building the village's economic independence while promoting a healthy lifestyle through traditional beverages with high nutritional value.
