ABSTRACT The storytelling method employed by Prophet Muhammad SAW represents a prophetic pedagogical approach oriented toward character building, spiritual reinforcement, and the development of students’ reflective awareness. However, contemporary Islamic education practices still tend to be dominated by cognitive and verbalistic approaches, resulting in the underdevelopment of affective dimensions and value internalization. This study aims to analyze the essence, theological foundations, educational objectives, characteristics, and relevance of the Prophet’s storytelling method from the perspective of hadith tarbawi. The research applied a qualitative approach using a library research method by collecting data from qasas verses of the Qur’an, hadith tarbawi, and relevant scientific articles. The data were analyzed using content analysis with a descriptive-interpretative approach to identify educational value patterns within the Prophet’s storytelling method. The findings reveal that the Prophet’s storytelling method contains three major dimensions: reflective-intellectual dimensions (ulil albab), transformational dimensions (ibrah), and universal value dimensions that remain relevant across time and contexts. This method has proven effective in instilling faith values, shaping character, enhancing empathy, and strengthening students’ spiritual awareness. The novelty of this study lies in positioning the Prophet’s storytelling method as a multidimensional pedagogical system integrating theological, psychological, social, and spiritual aspects within contemporary Islamic education. ABSTRAK Metode berkisah dalam pengajaran Nabi Muhammad SAW merupakan pendekatan pedagogis profetik yang berorientasi pada pembentukan karakter, penguatan spiritualitas, serta pengembangan kesadaran reflektif peserta didik. Namun, praktik pendidikan Islam kontemporer masih cenderung didominasi pendekatan kognitif dan verbalistik sehingga dimensi afektif serta internalisasi nilai belum berkembang secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hakikat, landasan teologis, tujuan edukatif, karakteristik, serta relevansi metode berkisah Nabi Muhammad SAW dalam perspektif hadis tarbawi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis library research melalui pengumpulan data dari ayat-ayat qasas Al-Qur’an, hadis tarbawi, dan artikel ilmiah yang relevan. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik content analysis dengan pendekatan deskriptif-interpretatif untuk menemukan pola nilai pendidikan dalam metode berkisah Nabi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode berkisah Nabi memiliki tiga dimensi utama, yaitu dimensi reflektif-intelektual (ulil albab), dimensi transformasional (ibrah), dan dimensi universalitas nilai yang relevan lintas ruang dan waktu. Metode ini terbukti efektif dalam menanamkan nilai keimanan, membangun karakter, meningkatkan empati, serta memperkuat kesadaran spiritual peserta didik. Kebaruan penelitian terletak pada penempatan metode berkisah Nabi sebagai sistem pedagogis multidimensional yang mengintegrasikan aspek teologis, psikologis, sosial, dan spiritual dalam pendidikan Islam kontemporer.
