<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the effect of Family Economic Education on the motivation of students to continue their studies to college at SMK Negeri 2 Paguyaman Boalemo Regency, Gorontalo. This study is motivated by the low number of graduates who continue their education to college in the last five years. This condition is influenced by various factors, especially family economic education related to financial management, saving habits, parental support, and understanding of the importance of education as a future investment. This study uses a quantitative approach with associative methods. The study population was 77 graduate students in 2025, while the research sample was 10 respondents determined using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques are done through observation, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis using descriptive statistics, normality Test, simple linear regression, t-test, and coefficient of determination. The results showed that family Economic Education is in the high category with an average value of 4.39, while the motivation of students to continue their studies to college is in the high category with an average value of 4.26. Thus, Family Economic Education has a positive influence on the motivation of students to go to college. The better the Economic Education applied in the family, the higher the motivation of students to continue their education to college. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan ekonomi keluarga terhadap motivasi siswa melanjutkan studi ke perguruan tinggi pada siswa SMK Negeri 2 Paguyaman Kabupaten Boalemo, Gorontalo. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya jumlah lulusan yang melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi dalam lima tahun terakhir. Kondisi tersebut dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, terutama pendidikan ekonomi keluarga yang berkaitan dengan pengelolaan keuangan, kebiasaan menabung, dukungan orang tua, serta pemahaman mengenai pentingnya pendidikan sebagai investasi masa depan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode asosiatif. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 77 siswa lulusan tahun 2025, sedangkan sampel penelitian sebanyak 10 responden yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji normalitas, regresi linear sederhana, uji t, dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan ekonomi keluarga berada pada kategori tinggi dengan nilai rata-rata 4,39, sedangkan motivasi siswa melanjutkan studi ke perguruan tinggi berada pada kategori tinggi dengan nilai rata-rata 4,26. Dengan demikian, pendidikan ekonomi keluarga memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap motivasi siswa melanjutkan studi ke perguruan tinggi. Semakin baik pendidikan ekonomi yang diterapkan dalam keluarga, maka semakin tinggi motivasi siswa untuk melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang perguruan tinggi.]]>
