Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of number of family dependents and education on poverty of the village communities in Sari Murni Village, Randangan Sub-Distric, Pohuwato Regency. The method used in this study is a quantitative method. The respondes amounted to 34 people in Sari Murni Village, Randangan Sub-Distric, Pohuwato Regency. The main instrument used was questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed by linear regression and continued to be carried out with the classical assumption test. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The population and samples were selected from a total of 34 low-income families with less than four family dependents (4) in Sari Murni Village, Randangan Sub-Distric, Pohuwato Regency. The result of the variability regardine poverty and education in Sari Murni Village, Randangan Sub-Distric, Pohuwato Regency indicated that the number of family dependens and education simultaneously affect poverty.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of entrepreneurial literacy on student entrepreneurial intentions. This research is a quantitative research. This research was conducted at the Faculty of Economics, State University of Gorontalo. The sample of this research was 200 students, the sample was taken using simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is simple regression analysis. The results of this study are that there is a positive and significant influence of entrepreneurial literacy on entrepreneurial intentions, this is shown by the t count of 12.266 and the Sig. 0.000 < α 0.05, it can be stated that Entrepreneurial Literacy has a significant effect on Entrepreneurial Intentions. The value of the effect shows positive, indicating that when entrepreneurial literacy increases, the entrepreneurial intention also increases. Thus it can be concluded that entrepreneurial literacy has a contribution to building entrepreneurial intentions of students of economic education at Gorontalo State University.

Abstract

It employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive research method. The population in this research were empoloyees at the Education, Culture, Youth and Sports Office of Gorontalo Province, with a total population of 335 respondents and the research samples were 40 employees. At the same time, the data collection technique used questionnaires, while the data analysis was done through simple linear regression analysis. The correlation analysis results depicted that there was an effect of work enviironment on employees’ performance at the Education, Culture, Youth and Sports Office of Gorontalo Province. This was proven by the correlation coefficient value of 0.758. The calculation of the coefficient of determination obtained an R-square value of 0.575, which meant that 57,5% of the variability of employees’ performance at the Education, Culture, Youth and Sports Office of Gorontalo Province could be explained by the work environment , The remaining 42.5% was affected by other variables that were not examined in this research.

Abstract

This research employs a quantitative approarch. Meanwhile, the data are collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The research samples were 50 people in Mootawa Village, Bone Raya Subdistrict, Bone Bolango Regency. The research applies simple linier regression. The research findings indicate that the performance  of the village chief positively affects  economic development  in Mootawa Village, Bone Raya Subdistrict, Bone Bolango Regency and it is identified from the calculation of the Pearson correlation coefficient of 0,521

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh disiplin dan motivasi terhadap efektivitas kerja pegawai. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Bagian Keuangan Biro Umum dan Keuangan Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 37 pegawai, pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode sensus, dimana seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel penelitian. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) Disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Efektivitas Kerja Tenaga Kependidikan di Bagian Keuangan Biro Umum dan Keuangan Universitas Negeri Gorontalo, (2) Motivasi Kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Efektivitas Kerja Tenaga Kependidikan di Bagian Keuangan Biro Umum dan Keuangan Universitas Negeri Gorontalo, dan (3) Disiplin kerja dan Motivasi Kerja secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Efektivitas Kerja Tenaga Kependidikan Di Bagian Keuangan Biro Umum dan Keuangan Universitas Negeri Gorontalo.

Abstract

Student learning outcomes in social studies subjects are still low, then there is still a lack of development of learning resources by teachers to students so that students are less motivated to learn. The study aimed to determine the extent of the influence of using textbook-based learning resources on students' learning outcomes in Integrated Social Sciences subject for Grade VIII at SMP Negeri 1 Tomilito, North Gorontalo Regency. The research adopted a quantitative approach, with a correlational quantitative method with a sample size of 45 students. Data collection techniques used in this study included observation, questionnaires, documentation, and data analysis techniques using simple regression in the research. The research findings indicated a positive and significant influence between the use of textbook-based learning resources and students' learning outcomes in Integrated Social Sciences subject for Grade VIII at SMP Negeri 1 Tomilito, North Gorontalo Regency. The coefficient of determination of the regression model previously obtained was 0,237, meaning that 23,7% of the variation in learning outcomes is explained by using textbook-based learning resources in the learning activities. In other words, the better the use of textbook-based learning resources by teachers, the higher the students' learning outcomes. The value of students' outcomes or influence by other variables not examined in 76,3%.

Abstract

Salah satu potensi laut yang biasa didapatkan oleh masyarakat nelayan di Desa Molamahu adalah penangkapan ikan. Masyarakat nelayan lebih dominan menangkap ikan daripada mengonsumsi ikan untuk kebutuhan pangan keluarga. Upaya peningkatan konsumsi ikan akan memberikan dampak pada kesehatan serta kecerdasan anak. Ikan yang merupakan pangan sumber protein ini memiliki kelemahan yaitu tidak dapat bertahan lama dan cepat mengalami kerusakan sehingga memerlukan pengolahan lebih lanjut. Tujuan pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yaitu untuk memberikan edukasi pentingnya konsumsi ikan dan cara pengolahan nugget ikan yang siap untuk dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat yang bernilai gizi tinggi. Mitra pengabdian ini yaitu masyarakat Desa Molamahu Kabupaten Bone Bolango. Metode pengabdian yang dilaksanakan yaitu metode pendidikan masyarakat terkait edukasi gemar makan ikan dan pelatihan pengolahan nugget ikan. Hasil pengabdian yaitu adanya peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat di Desa Molamahu tentang pentingnya edukasi gemar makan ikan untuk pemenuhan gizi anak, adanya peningkatan keterampilan ibu nelayan Desa Molamahu dalam mengolah ikan sebagai potensi laut menjadi produk olahan nugget ikan, dan terbantunya pihak kepala desa dan masyarakat dalam meningkatkan kemandirian pangan di Desa Molamahu. One of the sea potentials that is commonly obtained by the fishing community in Molamahu Village is fishing. Fishing communities are more dominant in catching fish than consuming fish for family food needs. Efforts to increase fish consumption will have an impact on children's health and intelligence. Fish, which is a protein source food, has a weakness that it cannot last long and quickly deteriorates, so it requires further processing. The purpose of community service is to provide education on the importance of fish consumption and how to process fish nuggets that are ready to be consumed by the community with high nutritional value. This service partner is the community of Molamahu Village, Bone Bolango Regency. The service method carried out is a community education method related to education on fish eating and fish nugget processing training. The results of the service are an increase in the understanding of the community in Molamahu Village about the importance of education to eat fish for the fulfillment of children's nutrition, the improvement of the skills of Molamahu Village fishermen in processing fish as a potential of the sea into processed fish nugget products, and the assistance of the village head and the community in increasing food independence in Molamahu Village.

Abstract

The low ability of students to think creatively in analyzing problems and the lack of optimal application of learning strategies in Problem Based Learning (PBL) cause students' learning outcomes to not be maximized. This study aims to determine the effect of the application of mind mapping in improving students' creative thinking skills in the PBL learning model. This study uses a pre-experimental design method with a one-group pre-test – post-test design. The population as well as the sample in this study are students of grade XI. The data collection instrument is in the form of a description test given to students before and after learning. The data was analyzed using the average pre-test and post-test scores, normality test, homogeneity test, and one sample T-test. The results of the study show that the application of mind mapping techniques has a significant effect on improving students' creative thinking skills in the PBL learning model. In conclusion, the use of mind mapping helps students understand concepts, improve critical thinking skills, and encourage creativity in problem-solving. This research implies the importance of integrating innovative learning strategies in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study examined whether pedagogic competence influences teacher performance in the Az-Zahra Integrated Islamic School, Gorontalo City This study used a descriptive quantitative approach on 30 respondents. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used was simple linear regression analysis. Based on the correlation coefficient test results, the value of the Pearson correlation coefficient was obtained at 0.728. This indicated a strong relationship between pedagogic competence (X) and teacher performance (Y). The results of the determination coefficient test obtained an R-Square value of 0.530, which indicated that 53% of the variability regarding teacher performance can be explained by pedagogic competence and other unexamined variables influence 47%.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Program Beasiswa Bidikmisi Terhadap Prestasi Belajar Mahasiswa Program Studi S1 Pendidikan Ekonomi, Fakultas Ekonomi, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan metode penelitian Survei. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang diperoleh dari penyebaran kuesioner kepada Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Ekonomi Angkatan 2017. Jumlah Penarikan Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebesar 35 responden. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat Pengaruh Program Beasiswa Bidikmisi terhadap Prestasi belajar Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Ekonomi Angkatan 2017. Besaran pengaruh Program Beasiswa Bidikmisi terhadap Prestasi Belajar Mahasiswa mencapai 36,7% sedangkan sisanya sebesar 63,3% dipengaruhi oleh variabel yang tidak diteliti.
