Abstract

This study aims to analyze industry compliance in the management of hazardous chemical waste from an economic law perspective and to examine estimates of the social costs resulting from regulatory noncompliance. This paper adopts a qualitative method using a literature review approach through the analysis of scientific literature and relevant regulations. The results of the study indicate that although Indonesia has fairly adequate regulations for the management of hazardous chemical waste, the level of industry compliance is still influenced by economic considerations, particularly the comparison between compliance costs and the risk of sanctions. Industrial non-compliance generates negative externalities in the form of environmental pollution and increased social costs borne by the public. Therefore, strengthened law enforcement, effective oversight, and the implementation of more transparent environmental accounting are necessary to reduce the social costs resulting from regulatory non-compliance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji penggunaan Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) di antara mahasiswa di Kota Pontianak serta dampaknya terhadap perilaku konsumsi dan pendapatan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM). Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik wawancara semi-terstruktur dan purposive sampling, penelitian ini melibatkan mahasiswa dan pelaku UMKM sebagai informan. Analisis data dilakukan melalui model interaktif Miles, Huberman, dan Saldana (2014) dengan triangulasi sumber dan teknik untuk menjamin keabsahan data. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa QRIS diterima luas oleh mahasiswa karena kemudahan dan kecepatan transaksi sesuai prinsip Technology Acceptance Model. Kemudahan bertransaksi mendorong peningkatan frekuensi belanja mahasiswa dan munculnya perilaku impulsif buying akibat berkurangnya hambatan psikologis. Bagi UMKM, adopsi QRIS berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan volume transaksi dan pendapatan, meski tidak merata. Tantangan utama yang dihadapi adalah ketidakstabilan jaringan dan kurangnya literasi digital. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan peningkatan literasi keuangan digital mahasiswa, optimalisasi strategi pemasaran digital UMKM, serta perluasan infrastruktur jaringan oleh pemerintah dan Bank Indonesia.
