Abstract

The utilization of cloud computing services has significantly increased to support organizational information technology infrastructure. However, the complexity of cloud service billing models often creates challenges in cost monitoring and resource usage transparency. This research aims to design and implement a billing dashboard for cloud service usage to improve cost visibility, billing calculation accuracy, and role-based access management. The software development method used is Waterfall with Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling. System testing was conducted using White Box Testing and User Acceptance Test (UAT). The results indicate that the developed system is capable of presenting billing information transparently and accurately while supporting effective cloud cost management decision-making.

Abstract

Mpu Tantular University Jakarta (UMT) is a private university located in Cipinang Besar, East Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, under the coordination of the Higher Education Service Institution (LLDIKTI) Region III. UMT operates under the Murni Education Foundation (YPBM). The Community Service Program (KKN) is a compulsory course that must be taken by students as one of the requirements for completing undergraduate studies, particularly in the Civil Engineering and Architecture Study Programs at Mpu Tantular University Jakarta. The implementation of the KKN includes planning and renovation activities for lecturers’ and department head offices. One of the activities carried out involves creating several conceptual drawings, including the layout design for the head of the department’s office, planning and design improvements for the seventh-floor room, and rendering of the proposed design.

Abstract

Solar energy technology is one of the most rapidly advancing renewable energy solutions aimed at meeting electricity demands in a sustainable manner. This technology converts sunlight into electrical energy through two primary approaches: the photovoltaic (PV) system, which utilizes solar panels to directly transform sunlight into electricity, and the Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) system, which uses mirrors or lenses to concentrate solar heat for electricity generation. The main advantage of solar energy lies in its environmentally friendly nature, as it does not produce carbon emissions or harmful greenhouse gases. Moreover, solar energy is derived from the sun—a renewable and abundant source that will not deplete. Economically, solar technology offers long-term cost efficiency; after the initial installation, operational costs are relatively low and can significantly reduce or eliminate electricity bills. The versatility of solar applications is another key benefit, as it can be used for various needs, ranging from household systems to large-scale industrial projects. With these advantages, solar energy stands as a strategic alternative in supporting the transition toward a cleaner, more sustainable energy system and environmentally friendly, especially within the environment of Mpu Tantular University in Jakarta.

Abstract

Attendance is one of the important aspects in managing the presence of employees and students. Manual or card-based attendance methods still have several weaknesses, such as being prone to manipulation, requiring more time, and lacking efficiency. Therefore, this study develops a prototype of a real-time face recognition-based attendance system using Python and OpenCV. The research method applied is Prototyping, consisting of stages of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The system is designed using the Haar Cascade algorithm for face detection and Local Binary Pattern Histogram (LBPH) for face recognition. The database uses SQLite with three main tables: users, positions, and attendance. The system was tested using four face datasets with a total of approximately 400 images, namely from users: Ronaldo, Lisra, Juliardo, and Riswanti. The test results show that the system can detect and recognize users' faces in real-time, automatically record attendance, and generate daily, monthly, and individual attendance reports.

Abstract

Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) is an essential aspect in the management of multi-storey buildings, particularly in emergency situations such as fires, earthquakes, or other hazardous events. One of the key elements in implementing OSH is the availability of safe, clear, and accessible evacuation routes for all building occupants. This Community Service Program (Kuliah Kerja Nyata/KKN) aims to analyze the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) evacuation routes in the Universitas Mpu Tantular building, which consists of eight floors, focusing on evacuation routes from the 1st to the 8th floor and from the 8th floor to the 1st floor. The method used in this activity was an observational and descriptive approach through direct field observations of evacuation routes, including emergency staircases, evacuation corridors, exit access, and evacuation signage. The results show that the Universitas Mpu Tantular building is equipped with evacuation routes that can be used during emergency conditions. However, several aspects still require improvement, such as the visibility and consistency of evacuation signage on each floor, potential obstacles along evacuation corridors, and the optimization of emergency lighting. This KKN activity contributes to increasing awareness and preparedness regarding Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) implementation through the evaluation of evacuation routes to enhance the safety of building occupants
