Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of arts and culture in strengthening cultural tourism attractions in Kertawangi Tourism Village, West Bandung Regency, within the framework of sustainable tourism development based on the 3A concept (attractions, accessibility, and amenities). Although the village has strong cultural potential, the management of attractions is still not optimally integrated in the tourism system. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data was collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with key informants, and documentation studies, and analyzed using triangulation techniques. The results of the study show that cultural arts attractions such as Wayang Golek, Calung, and Jaipongan Dance have not been managed systematically, characterized by sporadic performances and minimal integration in tour packages. The implementation of the "Kertawangi Ngaraga Budaya: Sajian Kolaboratif Seni Tradisi" program has proven to improve the quality of attractions through a collaborative and participatory approach, producing impacts on cultural revitalization, community economic improvement, and enhancement of destination competitiveness and quality. This study concludes that the pentahelix collaborative model is an effective strategic framework in developing community-based cultural tourism attractions in a sustainable manner.
