Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran mahasiswa KKN Rekognisi Kelompok 189 UIN Raden Fatah Palembang dalam mengoptimalkan peran pemuda sebagai agents of change melalui berbagai program filantropi dan kemanusiaan di Lembaga Satu Amal Indonesia. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan melalui program Free Food Car, Bazar Kemanusiaan, Mengajar di KB Ceria Sekolah Pinggiran Sriwijaya, dan Pemberdayaan Ekonomi Tangan Ibu. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan partisipasi langsung selama pelaksanaan KKN. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa program yang dilaksanakan mampu meningkatkan kepedulian sosial masyarakat, memperluas akses pendidikan bagi anak-anak di sekolah pinggiran, serta meningkatkan keterampilan ekonomi produktif bagi kelompok ibu-ibu binaan. Selain itu, keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam program kemanusiaan juga memperkuat peran pemuda sebagai agen perubahan dalam pembangunan masyarakat yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih rendahnya pemahaman keagamaan dan pengembangan diri anak di Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an serta belum optimalnya pelaksanaan kegiatan keagamaan masyarakat. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan keagamaan, membentuk karakter, dan mengembangkan keterampilan anak. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi, pendampingan langsung, penyampaian materi edukatif, serta kegiatan interaktif seperti latihan berbicara di depan umum dan literasi kisah teladan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi dengan melibatkan anak-anak dan masyarakat. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an, hafalan doa dan surah pendek, serta pemahaman nilai keagamaan. Selain itu, terjadi peningkatan kepercayaan diri, kemampuan komunikasi, dan kerja sama anak, serta kegiatan masyarakat menjadi lebih tertib dan terorganisir sehingga memberikan dampak positif secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study is entitled "Ecological Politics in Addressing Environmental Pollution in (A Study in Srigunung Village, Sungai Lilin District, Musi Banyuasin Regency)." The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of environmental pollution caused by palm oil industry activities on the Srigunung Village community and to examine the dynamics of power relations between the company, the government, and the community from an ecological politics perspective. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, using data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the industrial activities of PT Srigunung Inti Argo Persada have caused water, air, and soil pollution, which has a direct impact on the health and well-being of the surrounding community. The people of Srigunung Village experience a declinein their quality of life due to industrial waste, yet they have weak bargaining power due to the dominance of corporate power and weak enforcement of environmental law by the local government. From an ecological politics perspective, this condition reflects structural inequality and ecological injustice, where economic gain is prioritized over environmental sustainability and the community's right to a healthy environment. This research emphasizes the importance of implementing environmental policies that support ecological justice, increasing government oversight, and strengthening community participation in sustainable environmental management.

Abstract

The implementation of the Free Nutritious Meals Program (MBG) in elementary schools is a government effort to improve welfare and the quality of education by meeting students' nutritional needs. This study aims to analyze the political review of the implementation of the free nutritious meal program for elementary school students in Palembang and to identify and explain the impact of the implementation of the free nutritious meal program. The theory used by the researcher is the theory of political development explained by Warjio, which states that development is never neutral but is a political process involving various actors, interests, strategies, and powers. This study uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) in elementary schools in Palembang City reflects the involvement of political actors in public policy, in accordance with development politics theory. The local government, through collaboration with the Education Office, Health Office, SPPG, and schools, demonstrates synergy in the implementation of the program. The democratic political system is evident in the cross-sectoral coordination through MoUs that are responsive to community needs. Ideologically, the program is based on the values of social justice and equitable welfare. This program is purely a domestic policy without foreign financial intervention, although there is international technical assistance. The development process is carried out participatively through planning, data collection, and evaluation. Strategically, the program strengthens the image of the local government as caring for the welfare of the community. Positive impacts are seen in increased enthusiasm for learning, togetherness, and reduced economic burdens on families, although they are not yet significant in terms of health and intelligence and still face technical obstacles such as disruption to learning time.
