Abstract

Kata kunci: Batik Ciprat; Pemberdayaan Perempuan; Ekonomi Kreatif; Community-Based Action Research. ABSTRACTThis community service activity aims to empower women economically through a Batik Ciprat workshop in Dukuh Krajan, Sidoharjo Village, Pulung District, Ponorogo Regency. Most PKK members in the area are housewives with limited economic activities despite having available time and local potential. The program applied a qualitative approach using community-based action research consisting of diagnosing, action planning, action taking, evaluating, and learning stages. The workshop was conducted through direct demonstration and hands-on practice involving approximately 20 participants. The results show that participants were able to understand the materials and tools, follow the batik ciprat production stages, and complete their own products independently. The activity increased participants’ creativity, technical skills, and entrepreneurial motivation. However, limitations were found in terms of equipment availability and training duration. Overall, the workshop successfully strengthened women’s capacity and has strong potential to be developed into a sustainable micro-enterprise in the creative textile sector. Keywords: Batik Ciprat; Women Empowerment; Creative Economy; Community-Based Action Research.
