ABSTRACTThe main problem in this study is students' low creative thinking skills, which are an important aspect that needs to be developed through the learning process. The researchers assumed that the Discovery Learning model can develop through exploration, analysis, and independent discovery of the concepts being studied.The objective of the study was to determine students' creative thinking skills. Data were obtained through pretests and posttests administered to the experimental and control classes, then analyzed using a t-test.The results of the observations indicated that: There were differences in the creative thinking skills of students using the Discovery Learning model in the pretest and posttest in the experimental class. There were differences in the creative thinking skills of students using the Conventional learning method in the pretest and posttest in the control class. There were differences in the creative thinking skills of students using the Discovery Learning model and those using the Conventional learning method in the posttest. Peneliti berasumsi bahwa model pembelajaran Discovery Learning bisa berkembang melalui kegiatan eksplorasi, analisis, dan penemuan mandiri terhadap konsep yang dipelajari.Tujuan penelitian yaitu mengetahui kemampuan berfikir kreatif siswa dengan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dan metode konvensional. Data diperoleh melalui pretes dan posttes yang diberikan kepada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, lalu dianalisis menggunakan uji-t.Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa: Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berfikir kreatif siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Discovery learning pada pengukuran awal (Pretest) dan pengukuran akhir (Posttest) di kelas Eksperimen, Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berfikir kreatif siswa yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran Konvensional pada pengukuran awal (Pretest) dan pengukuran akhir (Posstest) di kelas kontrol, Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berfikir kreatif siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dengan yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran Konvensional pada pengukuran Akhir ( Posstest).
