Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh job description dan job specification terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT. Gusti Aroma Aksiri Celebes Kabupaten Bulukumba. Pengelolaan sumber daya manusia menjadi faktor penting dalam meningkatkan efektivitas operasional perusahaan karena kualitas pembagian tugas dan kesesuaian spesifikasi pekerjaan akan memengaruhi produktivitas kerja karyawan. Job description berfungsi sebagai pedoman kerja yang menjelaskan tugas, tanggung jawab, hubungan kerja, dan target pekerjaan sehingga membantu karyawan memahami pekerjaan yang harus diselesaikan secara efektif. Job specification berkaitan dengan kesesuaian kemampuan, keterampilan, pendidikan, pengalaman kerja, dan kompetensi yang harus dimiliki tenaga kerja agar mampu menjalankan pekerjaan sesuai kebutuhan perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan penyebaran kuesioner kepada responden penelitian. Teknik analisis data dilakukan menggunakan bantuan program Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) melalui uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, analisis regresi linear berganda, uji parsial, uji simultan, dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa job description memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan meskipun tingkat pengaruhnya belum signifikan secara statistik. Variabel job specification menunjukkan pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap peningkatan kualitas kinerja karyawan sehingga menjadi variabel yang paling dominan memengaruhi efektivitas kerja pegawai perusahaan. Hasil pengujian simultan memperlihatkan bahwa job description dan job specification secara bersama-sama memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kualitas kerja karyawan perusahaan. Penguatan sistem pembagian tugas dan penempatan tenaga kerja sesuai kompetensi diharapkan mampu membantu perusahaan meningkatkan produktivitas kerja, kualitas sumber daya manusia, dan efektivitas operasional organisasi perusahaan secara berkelanjutan. This study aims to analyze the influence of job description and job specification on employee performance at PT. Gusti Aroma Aksiri Celebes Bulukumba Regency. Human resource management has become an important factor in improving company operational effectiveness because the quality of job distribution and the suitability of job specifications influence employee productivity. Job description functions as a work guideline explaining duties, responsibilities, work relationships, and work targets, thereby helping employees understand the tasks that must be completed effectively. Job specification relates to the suitability of abilities, skills, education, work experience, and competencies that employees must possess in order to perform work according to company needs. This study employed a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires distributed to research respondents. Data analysis techniques were conducted using the Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) program through validity tests, reliability tests, multiple linear regression analysis, partial tests, simultaneous tests, and coefficient of determination analysis. The results showed that job description had a positive influence on employee performance although the level of influence was not statistically significant. The job specification variable showed a positive and significant effect on improving employee performance quality and became the most dominant variable affecting company work effectiveness. Simultaneous testing results indicated that job description and job specification together had a significant influence on improving employee work quality. Strengthening job distribution systems and employee placement according to competencies is expected to help companies improve work productivity, human resource quality, and organizational operational effectiveness sustainably.
