Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah membawa perubahan signifikan pada sektor perbankan, salah satunya melalui layanan mobile banking yang memungkinkan transaksi keuangan dilakukan secara daring. Namun, tingkat pemahaman masyarakat terhadap layanan ini masih tergolong rendah, khususnya di Jorong Ujung Padang. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan literasi digital masyarakat terkait pembukaan rekening online serta transaksi non-tunai melalui mobile banking. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif melalui kegiatan sosialisasi langsung, simulasi penggunaan aplikasi, dan pendampingan individual. Hasil survei awal menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar masyarakat hanya mengenal istilah mobile banking tanpa memahami prosedur, fitur, dan manfaatnya secara menyeluruh. Faktor penghambat utama meliputi kekhawatiran terhadap keamanan data pribadi, keterbatasan infrastruktur internet, serta kebiasaan bertransaksi secara tunai. Meskipun demikian, potensi adopsi layanan mobile banking cukup tinggi pada kelompok usia muda yang lebih terbuka terhadap inovasi digital. Setelah pelaksanaan kegiatan, terjadi peningkatan kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap layanan mobile banking, ditunjukkan oleh 55% responden yang menyatakan kesediaan untuk mencoba layanan tersebut. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan literasi keuangan dan mendorong inklusi keuangan digital di tingkat masyarakat. The advancement of digital technology has brought significant changes to the banking sector, particularly through mobile banking services that enable online financial transactions. However, the level of public understanding of these services remains relatively low, especially in Jorong Ujung Padang. This community service activity aims to improve public understanding and digital literacy related to online account opening and cashless transactions through mobile banking. The implementation employed a participatory approach through direct socialization, application usage simulations, and individual assistance. Initial survey results indicated that most community members were only familiar with the term mobile banking without fully understanding its procedures, features, and benefits. The main inhibiting factors included concerns over personal data security, limited internet infrastructure, and entrenched cash-based transaction habits. Nevertheless, the potential adoption of mobile banking services is relatively high among younger community members who are more receptive to digital innovations. Following the implementation of the program, there was an increase in public confidence in mobile banking services, as evidenced by 55% of respondents expressing willingness to try the service. This activity contributes to enhancing financial literacy and promoting digital financial inclusion at the community level
