Abstract

Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) is an evaluation tool used to determine the quality of a school through an educational report. This study aims to describe the process of developing ethnomathematics-loaded AKM test instruments and analyze their validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This study uses a development research approach using the ADDIE model, namely, (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation and (5) Evaluation. The research subjects involved 50 fifth-grade students at SDN Ujungnegoro 01 and SDN Wonokerso 02. The validation results from the validators showed a percentage of 95%, meeting the criteria of being very valid and suitable for testing, while the results of the validity of the items 30 out of 40 questions proved valid. The practicality test obtained an average score of 84% in the good category, and the practicality/readability response by the class teacher obtained a score of 93.06 in the excellent category. Based on peer assessment, the score was obtained with an interval of 91.67 in the excellent category. The effectiveness test is based on the questions' reliability, differentiating power, and difficulty level. The reliability test results from a Cronbach Alpha value of 0.874 indicate that the assessment instrument is highly reliable. The results of the differentiating power test were 14 questions in the sufficient category and 16 in the good category. Based on the results of the 30-question level test, there are eight questions in the easy category, 19 in the medium category, and three in the difficult category. The results showed that the developed numeracy AKM test instrument is valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the limited availability of accessible learning media for students with low vision, which often results in science instruction failing to meet their visual and multisensory learning needs. This condition creates gaps in conceptual understanding and student engagement during learning activities. The aim of this study was to examine the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of an adaptive activity book entitled “Energy for All” as an inclusive learning medium. The study employed a research and development design adapted from the ADDIE model. The participant was a fourth-grade student with monocular visual impairment, while the research subjects included one learning media expert and one subject-matter expert. Data were collected through observations, questionnaires, interviews, and tests. Data analysis combined thematic coding for qualitative data and descriptive analysis for quantitative results. The data collection instruments consisted of questionnaire sheets and test items. The results indicate that the adaptive activity book was highly feasible (media validation score of 89% and content validation score of 90.25%), highly practical (average response score of 87.25%), and effective in improving learning activity by 35.3% and learning outcomes by 46.7%. These findings suggest that simple adaptive print media can enhance conceptual understanding, motivation, and participation among students with low vision in science learning, while providing an inclusive instructional alternative that is easy for elementary school teachers to implement. The study implies that the use of adaptive activity books can support more inclusive science learning processes for students with low vision; therefore, teachers are encouraged to integrate similar adaptive instructional materials into everyday classroom practice.

Abstract

The current issue faced by students is their lack of familiarity with their own culture, as they tend to perceive it as outdated. Based on this concern, the purpose of this study was to develop a student worksheet (LKPD) based on local wisdom. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach, using the ADDIE model as the development framework. The research subjects consisted of material experts, assessment experts, and practitioners, while the trial subjects were sixth-grade elementary school students. Data were collected through tests, questionnaires, and documentation. The research instruments included questionnaire sheets and test items. Data analysis techniques involved qualitative descriptive analysis, quantitative analysis, and inferential statistics. The results showed that the validation score of the LKPD by material experts was 93.06, categorized as highly valid. The validation score by assessment experts was 94.29, also categorized as highly valid. The small-scale trial yielded a score of 86.11, indicating the highly practical category. The evaluation provided by practitioners resulted in a score of 94.32, also categorized as highly practical. Meanwhile, the peer evaluation obtained a score of 90.91, likewise classified as highly practical. Furthermore, the t-test results indicated a significant difference between the pretest and posttest means. The n-gain analysis for sixth-grade students on the global diversity indicator yielded an average n-gain score of 0.408, which falls into the moderate category. In conclusion, the LKPD based on local wisdom developed in this study has been proven to be valid, practical, and effective, making it highly suitable for use in Pancasila Education learning at the elementary school level to enhance students’ attitudes of respect and responsibility.

Abstract

Problem-solving ability is one of the abilities that students must have, but this ability is still relatively low. This study aims to produce and test the quality of mathematics learning e-modules based on Problem Based Learning in improving problem-solving abilities. The method used is the Research and Development (R&D) type with the ADDIE model. The subjects of this study were material and media expert validators, teachers, and fifth-grade elementary school students. Data were collected through material and media expert validation questionnaires, practical questionnaires by teachers and students, student response effectiveness questionnaires, and problem-solving ability tests through pretests and posttests. Data analysis techniques used in this study were quantitative and qualitative. The results showed that the development of e-modules based on Problem Based Learning can improve students' problem-solving abilities. The results of expert validation were qualified as very valid, practical validation by teachers and students were qualified as very practical, and student response effectiveness was qualified as very effective. The N-gain value obtained was 0.7288 indicating a high increase in students' problem-solving abilities. So, it can be concluded that the problem-based learning-based mathematics e-module meets the criteria of being valid, practical, and effective in improving fifth-grade elementary school students' problem-solving skills. Consequently, this e-module can be used as an alternative digital teaching material to support technology-based and student-centered mathematics learning in elementary schools.
