Abstract

This study's population, which consists of customers who use online transportation services, tries to ascertain how people in Tiban feel about utilizing it. The questionnaire approach was utilized in the sampling procedure, and as many informants as feasible from various ages and professional backgrounds were given connections. The analysis is a descriptive qualitative method suitable for giving information and facts. The findings of the questionnaire revealed that using online transportation benefits the neighborhood. People may travel easily using online transportation, providing several promotions, and ensuring client safety. The study's findings demonstrate how consumers see internet transportation as a significant and favorable outcome. Public perceptions may affect how people regard online transportation. Because online transportation serves the community, its capabilities and other characteristics can influence its opinions. The quality of the service itself determines whether Internet transportation is seen favorably or unfavorably by society. The performance of online transportation drivers while delivering services to the community supports service success in the service sector. Both negative and positive customer opinions of online transportation will be influenced mainly by the services offered to the community. As the preceding explanation demonstrated, the community, particularly the citizens of Tiban, is impacted by the usage of online transportation based.

Abstract

U-Turn is one of the infrastructures to change direction on the highway. U-Turns also increase access to mobility in the economic growth of the country. U-Turns are allowed at intersections in signalized or unsignalized research if they do not cause potential accidents, of course, taking into account road width, volume, and vehicle speed. In a study conducted at the Simpang Frenky batam center signalized intersection, it was found that U-Turns caused a slowdown in vehicle speed.

Abstract

The bridge is construction to continue the road from lower obstacles such as ordinary traffic. Bridges also serve as a link between separate places. Crossing is a process or act of crossing from one place to another by crossing a specific activity. A crossing bridge is a facility intended for pedestrians to carry out crossing activities at crossing points on roads with heavy traffic conditions. The pedestrian bridge serves as a safe way for pedestrians. The crossing bridge also functions as a means of moving pedestrians who will cross. The city of Batam is one of the cities with quite severe traffic jams. Because this often happens when there are many access roads in the city of Batam, road widening is carried out. FTA can assist in recognizing the interrelationships between causes in a system and in evaluating the potential impact of causes in the event of a system failure. The FTA procedure is based on creating a visual representation that identifies each potential cause, the relationship between the causes, and the prioritized prevention strategy.

Abstract

Traffic congestion is a global problem, including Indonesia, the 4th most populous country. Jalan Yos Sudarso is an arterial road with high vehicle intensity. This road is close to the industrial area and often experiences congestion during peak hours. This study aims to determine the performance of Jalan Yos Sudarso. This research was conducted directly by surveying the field on May 17, 2023, from 07.00 - 08.00 AM to collect data. Data collection was carried out on Jalan Yos Sudarso. The results obtained from traffic analysis are total volume = 3599.4 pcu/hour, capacity = 6468. Degree of saturation = 0.56 and Level of Service = C. From these results, Jalan Yos Sudarso is still comfortable passing.

Abstract

The choice of road lanes is a determining element in the financial improvement of a country. The mobility of suburban residents from isolated areas is linked to their economic activities by road construction, taking into account factors of comfort, safety, and smoothness of roads. Inside the geometric making plans of the road, it is important to decide the design standards that govern the vital elements of the road design. Computer software is used to facilitate and increase the level of planning precision. The author plans a horizontal alignment on Ciawi Tasikmalaya Regency Road using AutoCAD® Civil 3D in this geometric plan. Making this road aims to provide an alternative road by avoiding the congestion lane from the road that passes through the centre of the economy. This alternative road plan uses two SCS (Spiral-Circle-Spiral) type bends with a radius of 700 m, a design speed (Vr) of 80 km/hour, and a maximum slope of 6%.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has a large forest area, making it famous for its wood industry. The wood industry is processed into various kinds of furniture to be exported to all cities and countries. The connecting road between Mujahiddin-Lampok Road is made to support the economic activities of residents as Copper and gold suppliers. This research aims to design road geometrics, especially horizontal alignments by the "2021 Road Geometric Design Guidelines". The road to be made starts from STA 0+000 to STA 1+423.75 with objective data in 2022 using the AutoCAD® 3D auxiliary program. This road planning uses quantitative data which is divided into primary and secondary data. From the calculation results it can be concluded that on the 1424 km long road 2 different types of curves can be applied. The types used are SCS and SS (Road geometric planning must consider cost efficiency and safety.
