Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of consumer perception and consumer experience on purchasing decisions for Pond’s skincare products through purchase intention as a mediating variable among consumers in Palangk a Raya City. This research employed a quantitative approach, with data collected through an online questionnaire distributed via Google Forms to 100 users of Pond’s skincare products in Palangka Raya City. The sample was determined using purposive sampling based on specific criteria and obtained through a snowball sampling approach. Data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method with the assistance of SmartPLS software. The results indicate that consumer perception and consumer experience have a positive and significant effect on purchase intention. In addition, consumer experience and purchase intention have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. However, consumer perception does not have a significant direct effect on purchasing decisions. The findings also reveal that purchase intention mediates the influence of consumer perception and consumer experience on purchasing decisions. These findings suggest that purchasing decisions for Pond’s skincare products can be enhanced through strengthening positive consumer perceptions, improving consumer experience, and developing marketing strategies that effectively increase consumers’ purchase intention.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the effectiveness of environmentally conscious practices in the palm oil industry’s supply chain by integrating the Green SCOR model with ISO 14001-based environmental indicators. A case study was conducted in a government-owned palm oil refinery in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. The research employs a mixed-method approach involving surveys, interviews, and the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) using Expert Choice software to weight and prioritize 24 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The results indicate that environmental management performance reached a satisfactory level of 83.51%, with the most critical indicators being related to waste quality monitoring and hazardous waste (B3) disposal. These findings underscore the importance of aligning supply chain operations with environmental management standards to ensure regulatory compliance and sustainability. The integration of ISO 14001 and Green SCOR enhances the accuracy and comprehensiveness of environmental performance assessments. The study concludes that periodic re-evaluation and the inclusion of broader environmental metrics are essential to maintain long-term sustainability in industrial operations. Future research should explore stakeholder involvement and dynamic data integration for more adaptive environmental strategies.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of digital marketing and product innovation on the marketing performance of kerupuk and amplang MSMEs in Kotawaringin Timur Regency, with competitive advantage as a mediating variable. A quantitative cross-sectional survey design was employed, involving 120 MSME owners or managers selected through purposive sampling. The instrument comprised 20 indicators measured on a five-point Likert scale, and the data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) in SmartPLS 4. The simulated structural model indicates that all direct effects are positive and statistically significant: digital marketing and product innovation on competitive advantage; digital marketing and product innovation on marketing performance; and competitive advantage on marketing performance. The indirect-effect analysis shows that competitive advantage significantly mediates the effect of digital marketing on marketing performance, whereas its mediating role in the relationship between product innovation and marketing performance is not statistically significant. These findings suggest that digital marketing should be managed as a strategic capability that creates visible differentiation and superior customer value, while product innovation may enhance marketing performance directly without necessarily operating through competitive advantage
