Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has encouraged Islamic boarding schools to modernize their administrative processes, including the management of student leave permits. At Asrama Ma'had Aly, the leave permit process is still conducted manually, causing various problems such as data loss, delays in approval, and difficulties in preparing reports. This study aims to design and develop a web-based leave permit information system to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of permit administration. The research employed a qualitative approach using field research and library research methods. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The system development method used was the Waterfall model, consisting of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system was developed using PHP as the programming language and MySQL as the database management system. The resulting application enables students to submit permits online, allows administrators to verify and manage permit requests, and provides structured reporting features. Abstract

This study designs and implements a voice communication infrastructure based on Internet Protocol Private Branch Exchange (IP-PBX) using Trixbox in a Virtual Machine environment at Universitas Ibrahimy. The problem addressed is the need for efficient, manageable, and stable internal communication without increasing physical device requirements. The research method includes needs analysis, network topology design, virtual server installation, SIP extension configuration, and quality testing using Quality of Service (QoS) parameters. The implementation results show that Trixbox runs stably on a virtual server and supports effective communication among clients. QoS testing produced an average latency of 18.4 ms, jitter of 2.3 ms, packet loss of 0%, Mean Opinion Score (MOS) of 4.2, and a call setup time of 0.6 seconds. These values indicate that the system is in a very good category and is feasible as an internal campus communication solution. Abstract

The development of information technology has provided significant benefits in data management and information dissemination across various sectors, including educational institutions such as Islamic boarding schools. One of the challenges frequently encountered is the manual recording of student violations, which often leads to difficulties in data management, information retrieval, report preparation, and monitoring student discipline. This condition was also found at Al-Khuzaimah Dormitory of Salafiyah Syafi’iyah Islamic Boarding School, where violation records were still maintained using conventional administrative books, resulting in inefficiencies and a higher risk of errors in data processing. This study aims to design and develop a Web-Based Student Violation Information System to assist dormitory administrators in managing student data, violation records, sanctions, and reports in an integrated manner. The research employed a qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The system development process adopted the Waterfall model, which consists of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, integration, and testing stages. The application was developed using PHP as the programming language, MySQL as the database management system, and XAMPP as the local web server. The results indicate that the developed system is capable of facilitating the recording of student violations, managing student information, administering sanctions, and generating reports in a more structured manner. Furthermore, the system improves the speed, accuracy, and security of data management compared to the previous manual approach. Therefore, the implementation of this web-based information system contributes to enhancing administrative efficiency and supports administrators in monitoring and evaluating student discipline more effectively.

Abstract

The development of information technology has encouraged digital transformation in data management, including within religious organizations and congregational communities. At Pondok Pesantren Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Sukorejo, particularly in the IKSASS Sulawesi Putri Rayon, the management of congregants' departure data is still conducted manually, resulting in various issues such as delays in information delivery, recording errors, and difficulties in data tracking. The utilization of web-based information systems has been proven to improve efficiency and accuracy in data management [1]. Therefore, this study aims to design and develop a web-based information system for managing congregants' departure data to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of data administration. The research methods employed in this study include literature review, observation, interviews, and system development using the Waterfall method, which consists of the stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. Structured system development methods such as Waterfall and other approaches have been widely applied in the development of web-based information systems [2], [3]. The system was developed using the PHP programming language and MySQL database and was designed with key features including congregant data entry, departure record management, data searching, and web-based reporting that can be accessed in real time. The results of the study indicate that the web-based information system facilitates the management of congregant data, improves recording accuracy, and accelerates the process of information presentation. The implementation of information systems in religious and congregational service sectors has also demonstrated improvements in service quality and transparency of data management [4], [5]. With the implementation of this system, it is expected that the administrators of the IKSASS Sulawesi Putri Rayon at Pondok Pesantren Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Sukorejo will be able to manage data in a more structured, transparent, and efficient manner.
