Abstract

Conveyor systems have been an important element in industrial operations for extended period of time, particularly in material management. The advantage of the conveyor developed in this research lies in its energy regulation that is modified to fit the current load, in the hope of increasing the efficiency of electrical energy use. The conveyor speed control method is based on PWM (pulse width modulation), which is the setting of pulse duration to deliver current to the motor. The ATMega328 microcontroller serves as the controller in the system. When the system starts, the controller shall drive the motor based on pulse width modulation (PWM). This TRIAC perform as a phase regulator which is linked to a single-phase induction motor to operates the conveyor. The outcome show that the power generated varies depending on the load and duty cycle. With a load of 0.4 kg and a duty cycle of 20%, the power generated is 50.4 watts. Conversely, if the load increases and the duty cycle is also large, the power generated will be higher; with a load of 9.6 kg and a duty cycle of 80%, the power generated reaches 113.4 watts.

Abstract

Many adolescents have not yet mastered sexual education and social boundaries at the junior high school level. Several students are unable to distinguish between safe and dangerous social behaviors. The community service program was aimed at adolescents to improve knowledge and awareness about sexual education, reproductive health, and social norms. This program was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Bireuen with 33 students of class IX, consisting of 20 females and 13 males. The method used was a combination of interactive lectures, group discussions, question-and-answer sessions, video media, and evaluation using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The results showed that there was a significant difference in the level of knowledge before and after the intervention program. The average pretest score was 56.3, while the posttest average score was 82.7 with an increase of 26.4 points. In addition, 87.9% of the participants were able to answer correctly about the material delivered and showed a more positive attitude towards the effect of unhealthy relationships on health, with a p-value <0.05. This program effectively increases knowledge and awareness about sexual education and social norms among adolescents in SMP Negeri 2 Bireuen. It is recommended that this program be conducted periodically with active participation from schools and parents.

Abstract

Mata Mamplam Village faces persistent limitations in managing population administration, accessing public information, and coordinating disaster response — all of which are still handled manually, making services slow and prone to error. This community service program was designed to build and deploy a website-based Village Information System (SID) as a digital solution that addresses these specific, documented needs. The approach taken was needs-based service, involving village officials and community representatives through in-depth interviews and direct observation. The program ran through four sequential stages: needs analysis, system development, operator mentoring, and functional evaluation using black-box testing. The resulting system was built on the Next.js 14 framework with a PostgreSQL database, covering five main modules: population administration digitization based on National Identity Number (NIK) with automated PDF letter generation, public information transparency, disaster response management linked to BMKG data, a digital MSME catalog, and a no-code self-management feature. Black-box testing across all ten functional scenarios returned a 100% pass rate, and village operators demonstrated the ability to run and manage the system independently after the mentoring sessions. The deployment has measurably shifted village administrative services toward faster, more accurate, and more responsive operations.

Abstract

Vehicle safety is a crucial aspect of driving safety, especially given the growing number of drivers whose abilities may increase the risk of traffic accidents. This study aims to design and build a microcontroller-based safety system capable of providing early warnings and taking automatic actions to prevent accidents. The developed system utilizes an ATMega8535 microcontroller integrated with several types of sensors, including an SRF04 ultrasonic sensor for distance detection, a phototransistor for speed measurement, and an LM35 sensor for monitoring engine temperature, and is equipped with a security system using RFID. The research method employed involves the design and implementation of an embedded system using a prototype approach. Data from the sensors is processed by the microcontroller to determine whether conditions are safe or hazardous based on specific threshold values. If the distance to an object is less than 11 cm, the engine temperature exceeds 80°C, or the vehicle speed exceeds the specified limit, the system will issue a warning via a buzzer and automatically activate the braking system. Vehicle status information is displayed in real-time on an LCD. Test results show that the system performs very well in terms of detecting conditions and responding quickly, with an average response time of approximately 1–1.4 seconds under various sensor test conditions. The system is also capable of efficiently integrating security (RFID) and safety (multi-sensor) functions into a single device. The conclusion of this study is that the designed system can improve driving safety by providing early warnings and taking actions to minimize the occurrence of accidents.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Kualitas Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) dan Teknologi Informasi terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Skincare di Kabupaten Bireuen. Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang semakin pesat serta meningkatnya kebutuhan masyarakat terhadap produk perawatan kulit menjadikan kedua faktor tersebut penting dalam memengaruhi keputusan pembelian konsumen. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 114 responden yang merupakan konsumen produk skincare di Kabupaten Bireuen. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan program SPSS versi 21.0 dengan teknik analisis regresi linear berganda, uji t, uji F, dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kualitas SDM berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian dengan nilai t hitung sebesar 3,865 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Teknologi Informasi juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian dengan nilai t hitung sebesar 5,421 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Secara simultan, Kualitas SDM dan Teknologi Informasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian dengan nilai F hitung sebesar 48,763 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Nilai Adjusted R Square sebesar 0,458 menunjukkan bahwa Kualitas SDM dan Teknologi Informasi mampu menjelaskan Keputusan Pembelian sebesar 45,8%, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Kualitas SDM dan Teknologi Informasi memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan Keputusan Pembelian Skincare di Kabupaten Bireuen. Oleh karena itu, pelaku usaha perlu meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan serta mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi untuk menarik minat dan meningkatkan keputusan pembelian konsumen.
