Abstract

Objective: This study aims to describe the forms of religious integration and analyze their contribution to students’ academic achievement at MA Al-Kautsar Pandaan Pasuruan. Methods: This study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Results: The findings revealed that religious integration was implemented through various religious activities, including Qur’an recitation before lessons, collective prayers, congregational prayers, Friday Qur’anic studies, Ramadan Islamic boarding activities, and grave visitation programs. These activities have become part of the school culture in fostering students’ religious character. Religious integration was also incorporated into classroom learning through the integration of Islamic values into instructional activities. The study found that religious integration positively contributed to students’ discipline, responsibility, learning motivation, religious attitudes, and academic achievement. Novelty: This study provides empirical evidence regarding the contribution of religious integration programs to character development and academic achievement in an Islamic senior high school environment, particularly at MA Al-Kautsar Pandaan Pasuruan.
