Abstract

Classroom management is an important aspect of the learning process in elementary schools as it plays a significant role in creating a conducive, orderly, and effective learning environment. This study aims to analyze classroom management approaches in optimizing the learning process in elementary schools. The research employed a qualitative approach using a library research method, drawing data from various books, journal articles, and previous studies relevant to classroom management. The findings indicate that the implementation of preventive, behavioral, socio-emotional, and collaborative approaches can assist teachers in creating a comfortable learning environment, improving student discipline, encouraging active participation, and enhancing learning motivation. Furthermore, effective classroom management can minimize disruptions during the learning process, thereby enabling learning objectives to be achieved optimally. Therefore, teachers need to integrate various classroom management approaches according to students’ characteristics and learning conditions in order to create a more effective and meaningful learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the management of the Dhuha prayer program in shaping the Islamic character of students at SDITA Al Muyassar Bogor, which includes planning, implementation, as well as obstacles and evaluation. The approach used is descriptive qualitative. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation with the principal, teachers, and students, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. Data validity was tested through triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of the study indicate that: (1) planning was carried out by setting goals, schedules, mentors, and supporting facilities to instill the values ​​of discipline, responsibility, religiosity, and independence; (2) implementation took place routinely every morning before teaching and learning activities through ablution, congregational prayer, and the provision of prayers and motivation which were proven to increase students' discipline and awareness of listening; and (3) obstacles such as lack of student discipline, limited facilities, and variations in worship awareness were overcome through continuous supervision, motivation, collaboration with parents, and periodic evaluation. In general, the Dhuha prayer management program at SDITA Al Muyassar Bogor has been effective in shaping the Islamic character of students
