Abstract

The development of globalization and modernization has reduced younger generations' interest in local culture and local wisdom. This condition has encouraged the need for non-formal education that utilizes local wisdom as a learning resource. One such initiative is Sekolah Ndeso, a local wisdom-based non-formal educational institution that develops educational tourism activities through the TAR Program (Grow, Experience, and Celebrate). This study aimed to analyze the management of Sekolah Ndeso in supporting the TAR Program, focusing on the planning, implementation, and evaluation processes. This study employed a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation, and were analyzed using Miles and Huberman's interactive data analysis model, which includes data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The findings indicate that the planning process involved analyzing the needs of students and partner schools, designing local wisdom-based learning activities, planning human resources, providing facilities and infrastructure, and developing funding and partnerships. The implementation was carried out through the Grow, Experience, and Celebrate stages, supported by coordination between managers and facilitators, as well as promotional strategies and communication with partner schools. Evaluation was conducted through internal discussions, reflection on program implementation, and the utilization of feedback from participants and accompanying teachers as the basis for improving both the program and institutional management. These findings demonstrate that Sekolah Ndeso systematically implements local wisdom-based non-formal education management, thereby supporting the implementation of the TAR Program as a contextual, participatory, and experiential learning approach.
