Abstract

The phenomenon of the halal lifestyle demands modern society to fulfill sharia principles in almost all aspects of life. In order to improve the quality of halal integrity to reach the global market potential of US$ 2.3 trillion, a system is built that can accommodate halal products. In the end, a halal value chain was formed that could integrate various companies and industries to work hand in hand to build a halal ecosystem. One aspect that cannot be abandoned in the development of the halal ecosystem is the financial sector in which transactions and financial mobilization occur. Of course, the system used is Islamic finance, in accordance with the principles of the halal value chain. One of the Islamic finance sectors is sharia insurance. In general, insurance is used as a guarantee if one day there is a loss to the related party. The halal industry certainly does not guarantee the avoidance of business actors from losses. From this, it can be understood that Islamic insurance plays a vital role in developing the halal value chain. Therefore, further research is needed regarding the identification of the role of Islamic insurance in optimizing the halal value chain. This research using qualitative methods and library research aims to analyze the role of sharia insurance in developing the halal value chain. The results found that almost all halal value chain clusters such as food and beverage clusters, halal tourism, fashion, cosmetics, and recreational media require sharia insurance to develop the halal value chain. This is because sharia insurance can guarantee the continuity of sharia-based businesses if there is an unthinkable loss one day. The government needs to pay more attention to implementing the Islamic financial system, one of which is sharia insurance, if it wants to create a halal ecosystem in Indonesia.

The world and the rupiah exchange rate with the exception of corona have a significant effect on mining stock prices at Indonesian Islamic share prices in 2020. Abstract

This study aims to determine the macroeconomic influence in the collection of ZIS in Indonesia. This research method uses quantitative methods with panel data regression analysis models. The data consisted of 34 provinces during the 9-year  study period from 2013-2021. The secondary data used comes from the publication of the annual report of BAZNAS, Regional BAZ, and also other supporting data such as BPS and BAPPENAS. The results show that simultaneously all variables have a significant effect on the collection of ZIS. Meanwhile, partially, both Human Development Index (HDI), Economic Growth, Income Per Capita (IPC), and Provincial Minimum Wage (PMW), have a positive effect on the collection of ZIS funds in BAZNAS 2013-2021.  Although macroeconomics has an impact on the collection of ZIS, it is necessary to conduct further research  related to community behavior  with a consumer behavior approach, especially the focus on awareness instruments in paying ZIS.

Abstract

Financial technology is a form of adaptation to technological disruptions. The adoption of fintech in ZIS payments (zakat, infaq, shadaqah) is necessary if the zakat institution wants to increase fundraising from the community. This study investigates the impact of digitizing payments on interest in paying ZIS. This study uses quantitative analysis with a combined approach of the TAM and TPB. A quantitative sample was obtained from 250 respondents with 174 valid and representative questionnaires. The research areas were Yogyakarta and Surakarta. The results show that digitization of ZIS payments increases a ZIS's intention to pay. All TAM constructs, namely perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness, affect attitudes and intentions to pay ZIS. The TPB constructs namely attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control affect the intention to pay a ZIS.
