Abstract

Stunting in Batu City has experienced profound complexity over the past five years, with no optimal improvement. Based on official government documents, Batu City ranks lowest in terms of stunting prevention. Over time, however, the improvement process has shown satisfactory results. This study focuses on the efforts made by the Batu City government to reduce stunting to the maximum extent possible. A qualitative approach based on literature studies was the primary choice, with data organized from mass media reports, documents, and relevant journals on stunting in Batu City. The results of this study show that, in the context of policy and implementation, stunting eradication has undergone a process of escalation. Improvements to the orientation of laws are the first step to ensure that handling can be carried out properly, even creating innovative programs. In addition, collaborative networks are beginning to be sought to touch on CSR. This involvement becomes an expressive space, where the government and the private sector prioritize sustainable human development.

Abstract

The phenomenon of policies not being fully implemented has raised serious questions about the government’s effectiveness. This practice is particularly noteworthy when the application of justifications during annual evaluations fails to yield optimal results. The recurrence of old patterns, coupled with unexpected dynamics, forces implementation to halt, restart, or remain unfulfilled. Enhancing understanding through education and training is the simplest tool for steering a practical and adaptive course at a time when efficiency is being enforced nationwide. This study employs a qualitative approach in the form of a literature review. Data were drawn from scientific research, limited to case studies from the past five years. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis; the primary reasons for flexibility and accessibility given that the findings were constrained by the study’s focus were relatively well-defined, allowing different findings, terminology, and patterns to be integrated into appropriate themes. The results of this study highlight two relatively straightforward key agendas. First, establishing continuous education a process that fosters a comprehensive understanding divided into three patterns: first, a pattern of thinking; second, a pattern of understanding; and third, a pattern of behavior. These three patterns are integrated into the implementation of continuous education. Second, it establishes continuous training through five approaches: On-the-Job Training, Leadership Development, Coaching and Mentoring, E-Learning and Microlearning, and Soft Skills Training. These two key aspects education and training have implications based on the capacity of public organizations and the needs to be developed.

Abstract

The Mojokerto City Government's sustained efforts in addressing stunting have garnered significant national recognition, evidenced by its receipt of the Innovative Government Award for two consecutive years. These achievements have stimulated scholarly interest in examining the stakeholders involved in these initiatives. The overarching objective is to develop a replicable framework for other regional and municipal governments, fostering broader efforts to combat stunting in Indonesia. This research is grounded in the stakeholder analysis model advanced by Reed et al. (2009), which facilitates the systematic identification, categorization, and analysis of stakeholder relationships. The study adopts a descriptive case study methodology within a qualitative research paradigm, utilizing participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis as primary data collection techniques. The findings highlight the involvement of 27 stakeholders in Mojokerto City's stunting reduction programs, categorized into three groups: 4 primary stakeholders, 18 key stakeholders, and five secondaries. Further analysis reveals that stakeholders can also be classified based on their level of interest and influence in achieving the initiatives' goals. Specifically, five stakeholders are identified as key players, nine as subjects, 10 as context setters, and three as crowd members. However, the study also identifies challenges, particularly conflicts arising from community-level misunderstandings of stunting's impacts and the limitations in disseminating critical information effectively. This research underscores the importance of stakeholder collaboration and highlights the need for effective communication strategies to address conflicts and enhance community understanding of stunting prevention efforts.

Abstract

This study aims to see how the dynamics of curriculum policy in Indonesia. This research uses the literature study method. The data we use is secondary data, obtained from relevant references such as journals, books and other media. The results show that education is the right of every citizen, so it is only right that optimal education should be accompanied by an appropriate curriculum and teaching materials. Since the curriculum in Indonesia has changed eleven times, there are four critical findings that the first curriculum change is based on changing human resources, the second thing that is changed in the curriculum from conceptual to practical knowledge, the third learning process that emphasizes the ease of student access and differences from each curriculum that characterizes the implementation of education in the temporary period.
