Abstract

Air merupakan salah satu jenis energi yang melimpah di Indonesia, sehingga dapat berpotensi jika dimanfaatkan sebagai pembangkit listrik skala kecil, salah satunya Pembangkit Listik Tenaga Pico hydro (PLTPH). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merencanakan pembangunan pembangkit listrik pada sungai debit air kecil sebagai sampel sehingga tergolong kedalam jenis pico hydro, penelitian  perencanaan ini berada di Dusun Blater Kidul, Desa Jimbaran, Kecamatan Bandungan, Kabupaten Semarang. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk membuktikan bahwa pada aliran air sungai dengan debit air  menyuplai listrik kebutuhan kecil. Pengukuran lapangan dilakukan untuk menentukan kecepatan aliran sungai, luas penampang sungai, debit, dan head sebagai dasar perhitungan potensi daya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan debit aliran 0,18  m³/s, kecepatan 2,3  m/s, dan head efektif 2,8 m. Perhitungan menghasilkan potensi daya 5,297 kW dan daya bersih 4,202 kW dengan efisiensi sistem 85%. Penggunaan turbin pelton dipilih karena sesuai  dengan debit dan head rendah hingga sedang. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa perencanaan PLTPH dapat dimanfaatkan untuk penerangan pada desa terpencil, penerangan jalan desa, maupun penerangan pada kebutuhan listrik yang tidak terlalu banyak.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of the Jelok Tuntang Hydroelectric Power Plant (PLTA) on local residents. The use of hydropower through PLTA is an important alternative amidst increasing energy demand and the issue of dependence on fossil fuels, while supporting the provision of clean, stable, and sustainable energy. The Jelok PLTA, which has been operating since 1938 and is administered by PT Indonesia Power, is located in Delik Village, Tuntang District, Semarang Regency. The methods used in this study include field observations, in-depth interviews with residents, and a literature review to gain a comprehensive understanding of its impacts. The results obtained indicate that the presence of the Jelok Tuntang PLTA has made a significant positive contribution to the social, economic, and infrastructure welfare of the local community. These positive impacts include the provision of regular social assistance such as rice and basic necessities, financial support for business development for MSMEs, and job creation in the area. In addition, the hydroelectric power plant also contributes to the provision of clean water through special filtration facilities, lighting for public facilities such as mosques and village roads, and improving the quality of access roads to the hydroelectric power plant. According to information obtained from informants, no significant negative impacts were found. Overall, the Jelok Tuntang hydroelectric power plant has been proven to improve the quality of life of the community, strengthen its role as strategic infrastructure in the village, and demonstrate significant benefits for the community and village government

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Natural Science (IPA) instruction using an Islamic Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model supported by science salawat in an Islamic boarding school-based elementary school. A descriptive qualitative research method was employed. Data collection involved classroom observations, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and documentation of the learning process. The results indicate that the implementation of Islamic PBL supported by science salawat effectively enhanced students' ecological understanding and critical thinking skills regarding environmental problem-solving. The integration of Islamic values ​​was realized by framing pollution issues around the boarding school within the context of contemplation of Quranic verses prohibiting the destruction of the earth. Meanwhile, science salawat served as both an interactive medium and a means of spiritual reflection, reinforcing students' retention of scientific concepts in a meaningful way. The primary challenge encountered was time constraints in completing all stages of the Islamic PBL model amidst the school's rigorous schedule of boarding activities. The study concludes that the Islamic PBL model supported by science salawat successfully harmonizes academic achievement in science with the internalization of religious values ​​among students from an early age.
