Abstract

This study analyzes the dependence of imported raw materials on Indonesia’s textile export performance in 2025, focusing on trade with Asian countries such as China, India, and Korea Selatan. Using a descriptive quantitative and qualitative approach, the study finds that although exports remain strong, high import dependence reflects Indonesia’s role as an intermediate producer in the global value chain. This creates both opportunities for export growth and vulnerabilities due to external dependency.

Abstract

The 2026 Community Service Program (KKN) of Universitas Pelita Bangsa in Bantargebang Village focused on community empowerment and environmental mitigation through green space initiatives. Bantargebang Village has unique social and economic characteristics as the largest Integrated Waste Processing Site (TPST) in the Jabodetabek area. This situation creates various problems, one of which is suboptimal environmental management and a decline in the quality of open green spaces. This community service used a descriptive qualitative approach with a participatory method, positioning students and the community as active collaborators from the planning to the implementation stages. The program coordinated 47 students from various study programs to execute a tree-planting movement in the RW 06 area on August 13, 2026, which was also inaugurated by university leaders. The results indicate that the physical intervention in the form of greening successfully acted as a catalyst in building collective ecological awareness. With the instrument of handing over maintenance responsibilities post-activity, this integrated KKN program has proven to make a real contribution to citizen participation and encourage the creation of sustainable micro-ecosystem development.
