ABSTRACT Efforts to enhance physical fitness and solidify the character of elementary school students continue to rely significantly on the crucial role of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS). In order to construct a healthy environment within the school premises, instilling a PHBS culture is essential to foster a sense of discipline, responsibility, and ecological awareness. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the PHBS culture in establishing a healthy school environment and developing the character of students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 6 Lampung Selatan. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, this research involved informants comprising the school principal, teachers, School Health Unit (UKS) staff, and students, selected through purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, while data analysis utilized the Miles and Huberman framework. The findings indicate that the realization of the PHBS culture is executed through routine programs, teacher role-modeling, the provision of hygiene facilities, and continuous monitoring. These PHBS activities are implemented via classroom cleaning duties, routine handwashing, maintenance of the school's green environment, and the optimization of the UKS. Consequently, the introduction of a PHBS culture significantly contributes to the conditioning of a healthy environment within the educational institution while constructively shaping the students' character. ABSTRAK Upaya peningkatan kebugaran tubuh serta pemapanan karakter peserta didik pada tingkat sekolah dasar hingga kini dinilai tetap bertumpu pada krusialnya perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS). Demi mengonstruksi lingkungan sehat pada lingkup sekolahan, penanaman budaya PHBS dibutuhkan demi memupuk moralitas tertib, rasa kewajiban, serta kepedulian terhadap ekologi sekitar. Kajian ini bertujuan membedah pelaksanaan budaya PHBS dalam mewujudkan lingkungan sehat sekolahan serta mematangkan karakter peserta didik di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 6 Lampung Selatan. Kajian kualitatif deskriptif ini melibatkan narasumber yang mencakup pimpinan lembaga, pengajar, staf UKS, serta subjek didik lewat mekanisme purposive sampling. Penjaringan informasi dilangsungkan lewat pengamatan, tatap muka, serta pengarsipan berkas, sementara pembedahan fakta mengeksploitasi skema Miles dan Huberman. Temuan mengindikasikan bahwa realisasi budaya PHBS dijalankan lewat agenda rutin, percontohan dari pengajar, penyediaan sarana higienitas, serta kontrol yang diselenggarakan secara kontinu. Aktivitas PHBS tersebut diimplementasikan lewat penugasan kebersihan kelas, rutinitas membasuh jemari, pemeliharaan keasrian sekitar, dan pengoptimalan UKS. Karenanya, introduksi budaya PHBS menyumbang dampak besar bagi pengondisian lingkungan sehat di institusi pendidikan sekaligus memahat karakter peserta didik secara konstruktif.
