<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor apa yang mempengaruhi anak melakukan penganiayaan hingga mati dan menganalisis peran korban dalam tindak pidana penganiayaan yang dilakukan oleh anak dari perspektif viktimologi. Kasus yang dikaji merupakan kasus penganiayaan berat yang terjadi di lingkungan pondok pesantren, di mana korban meninggal dunia dan pelaku merupakan anak di bawah umur. Dalam kajian viktimologi ini tidak hanya dilihat dari perspektif hukum semata, melainkan juga melalui faktor sosial dan psikologis yang mempengaruhinya. Tipe penelitian ini menggunakan metode normatif, dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara kepada penyidik, orang tua pelaku, dan psikolog. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya faktor yang mempengaruhi anak melakukan penganiayaan hingga mati, antara lain: faktor emosional. psikologis, dan juga faktor sosial. Serta adanya peran korban yang memiliki andil tertentu dalam eskalasi konflik yang berujung pada penganiayaan, yang secara viktimologis dapat dikategorikan sebagai provoked victim. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam beberapa kasus, peran aktif atau pasif korban dapat memengaruhi dinamika tindak pidana, khususnya ketika pelakunya adalah anak. Meskipun demikian, sistem peradilan pidana anak tetap menitikberatkan pada perlindungan dan pembinaan pelaku, dengan tetap memperhatikan keadilan bagi korban. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence children to commit abuse to death and to analyze the role of victims in acts of abuse committed by children from a victimology perspective. The case studied is a case of serious abuse that occurred in an Islamic boarding school environment, where the victim died and the perpetrator was a minor. In this victimology study, not only is viewed from a legal perspective, but also through the social and psychological factors that influence it. This type of research uses a normative method, with a qualitative approach and data collection techniques through interviews with investigators, the perpetrator's parents, and psychologists. The results of the study indicate that there are factors that influence children to commit abuse to death, including: emotional factors, psychological factors, and also social factors. In addition, the role of the victim who has a certain contribution in the escalation of the conflict that leads to abuse, which victimologically can be categorized as a provoked victim. These findings indicate that in some cases, the active or passive role of the victim can influence the dynamics of the crime, especially when the perpetrator is a child. Nevertheless, the juvenile criminal justice system still emphasizes the protection and development of the perpetrator, while still paying attention to justice for the victim.]]>
