Abstract

Manual administration in MSME laundry businesses is a primary source of operational inefficiency, generating service bottlenecks and a high risk of human error. High-mobility customers are hindered by slow manual record-keeping, the absence of order status transparency, and the lack of digital payment options. This study aims to design and develop an Android-based laundry application incorporating a Drop and Go system to fully automate and eliminate these administrative barriers. The system integrates a self-service booking feature, QR Code scanning for instant drop-off confirmation, and the Midtrans payment gateway for cashless transactions. The application was developed using the Flutter framework and Node.js, following the Waterfall methodology. Black-box testing on 10 Customer Application scenarios and 14 Outlet Application scenarios yielded a successful status for all functionalities. System Usability Scale (SUS) evaluation produced an average score of 75 (Good) for the Customer Application and 85 (Excellent) for the Outlet Application, demonstrating that the system is viable for implementation as a modernization solution for MSME laundry operations.

Abstract

The swift pace of digital change in healthcare has opened new doors for mobile health services (m-health), but users in developing areas still face major hurdles, like high consultation costs, no real-time updates on health facility activities, and poor usability of current platforms. This study wants to create a user-focused mobile health app, "GoHealth," using the Design Thinking approach to solve these exact problems. The research framework combines the five steps of Design Thinking—Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test—with a specific focus on improving user interaction and accessibility. Quantitative results showed an overall Task Success Rate (TSR) of 92%, though specific tasks like 'Input Form' and 'Payment' initially had a lower success rate of 80% before iteration. The high-fidelity prototype has a simplified consultation flow, real-time location tracking for health facilities, and a curated health literacy module. Usability testing with representative users (n=5) using the Unmoderated Usability Study method showed a high task completion rate but identified areas for improvement in micro-interactions. This study concludes that a human-centered approach significantly enhances perceived utility and efficiency in mobile health applications by bridging the gap between technological capability and user needs.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology in the era of globalization has brought significant changes in various aspects of life, including education. Technology enables the processing and delivery of information quickly, accurately, and efficiently, but it also poses challenges such as misuse and digital crime. In the context of education, the successful use of technology is highly dependent on the availability of infrastructure, particularly the quality of the internet network. WiFi is one of the main tools that supports access to digital learning materials, but poor network quality can interfere with learning effectiveness. This study aims to analyze the effect of WiFi network quality on the learning activities of female students at the Bogor IDN Polytechnic. The study uses a quantitative approach with data collection through technical network measurements using the Speedtest application and a questionnaire that assesses the students' experience in using WiFi for learning. The sample consisted of 25 female students randomly selected from the population of active female students. The results of this study are expected to provide an understanding of the role of WiFi network quality in supporting learning, as well as a basis for the campus to improve network services so that the learning process becomes more effective and comfortable. This study is in line with previous findings that emphasize the importance of internet access quality for student comfort and learning participation.

Abstract

The development of a web-based Point of Sale (POS) system for Jayla Shop, an MSME engaged in K-Pop merchandise sales, aims to replace manual transaction recording and stock monitoring processes that can be inefficient and prone to errors. The system was developed using the Laravel framework with a MySQL database and the Waterfall development method, which includes requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and evaluation. The system manages product data, stock data, sales transactions, and transaction details. Key features include automated sales transaction recording, transaction recap reports by specific periods, report export in PDF and Excel formats, an analytics dashboard with sales and product charts, best-selling product information, and stock notifications. In addition, the system supports receipt printing using a Bluetooth thermal printer. Functional testing was conducted using black-box testing and showed that all main features operated as expected, enabling the system to improve transaction efficiency and simplify report generation. Therefore, this POS application not only serves as a transaction support tool but also represents an initial step in the digital transformation of an MSME toward a more modern and integrated information system.

Abstract

Low user engagement and long-term retention remained key challenges in mobile learning applications despite advancements in instructional content and functionality. This study aimed to examine the role of gamification elements and micro-interactions in enhancing user engagement in mobile-based language learning applications, with a focus on Duolingo and similar platforms. A Systematic Literature Review method was employed, following the stages of identification, screening, eligibility assessment, and inclusion. Literature searches were conducted through Google Scholar and ResearchGate, covering studies published between 2020 and 2025. Ten articles that met the inclusion criteria were analyzed using qualitative synthesis. The results indicated that gamification elements such as points, badges, leaderboards, and streaks contributed to increased learner motivation and consistent application use. In addition, micro-interactions supported user engagement by improving system clarity, interaction comfort, and feedback responsiveness. This study concluded that a balanced integration of gamification and micro-interactions was essential for developing sustainable and effective mobile learning applications.

Abstract

The development of web technology has increased the need for digital data storage and management systems that can be accessed online. One form of such systems is a web-based digital image repository that allows users to store, search, view, and download image collections efficiently. This study aims to design and implement a web-based digital image repository using React JS as the frontend and Laravel as the backend supported by RESTful API. The system development method used is the Waterfall method, which includes requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing stages. The results show that the system successfully provides core features such as gallery display, image search, and image download. Functional testing indicates that the search and download features work properly according to user needs. Although the login and upload features are still under development, the system has generally achieved the research objective as an accessible and efficient web-based digital image repository

Abstract

Device log management is often a challenge for system administrators due to large data volumes and unstructured formats. Manual processing is time-consuming and prone to human error. This research aims to implement an automated device log processing system utilizing Google Apps Script (GAS) as a cloud-based processing engine. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D), consisting of log data collection, automation script design, integration with Google Sheets as a database, and functional testing. The results show that the developed system is capable of parsing log data in real-time, categorizing log types based on urgency levels, and presenting them in structured reports. Efficiency testing demonstrates a reduction in data processing time by [X]% compared to conventional methods. The conclusion of this study is that Google Apps Script provides a cost-effective and efficient solution for managing device logs for medium-scale institutions.
