Abstract

Exposure to extreme temperatures and air pollution in the agricultural sector causes cardiovascular problems in the elderly. The aging process in the agricultural sector is also correlated with hypertension problems, because the aging process also changes the cardiovascular system and is related to the incidence of hypertension. Furthermore, climate change is also related to hypertension problems or cardiovascular disorders in the elderly. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the impact of climate change on cardiovascular disease among the elderly to ensure their quality of life in the agricultural sector. Based on the explanation above, it can be concluded that climate change has a significant impact on the health problems of the elderly in the agronursing system. Climate change, including exposure to extreme heat and air pollution, affects cardiovascular disorders among elderly farmers. In responding to these problems, mitigation should be carried out to provide access to health services, enabling farmers, the majority of whom are in developing countries, to minimize the impact of climate change and improve their welfare and quality of life.

Abstract

Permasalahan utama dari rendahnya penemuan kasus di Puskesmas rowotengah disebabkan oleh rendahnya pengetahuan masyarakat tentang penyakit TB Paru. TB HUNTER (Together Battling Health Under Networking Towards Elimination of TB) bertujuan untuk meningkatkan penemuan kasus Tuberkulosis (TB) Paru di wilayah agraris Rowotengah melalui implementasi TB Hunter. TB Hunter merupakan sebuah platform self-assessment online yang dirancang untuk mempermudah deteksi dini TB di kalangan masyarakat. Rancangan program ini dilakukan selama kurang lebih 10 hari dalam bentuk program kemitraan dan pemberdayaan dengan nama program “TB Hunter” dalam pemanfaatan web untuk meningkatakan penemuan kasus TB dengan screening mandiri. Program ini terdiri dari beberapa aktivitas melalui 4 bentuk strategi program, yaitu pendidikan kesehatan, proses kelompok, pemberdayaan masyarakat, dan kemitraan masyarakat. Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan program TB Hunter di wilayah Rowotengah, dapat disimpulkan bahwa program ini memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan dalam mendeteksi dan menangani kasus tuberkulosis (TB). Melalui penggunaan teknologi berbasis web, TB Hunter berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai TB serta mempermudah mereka dalam melakukan screening diri, terutama bagi kelompok berisiko tinggi. Dari 12 peserta yang hadir dalam kegiatan ini, 14 masyarakat berisiko tinggi ikut melakukan self-screening, dengan 1 pasien terkonfirmasi TB setelah dilakukan tindak lanjut. Program ini juga berhasil meningkatkan jumlah penemuan kasus terduga TB, yang sebelumnya hanya sekitar 0-1 orang per hari, menjadi rata-rata 4 orang per hari setelah penerapan TB Hunter. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa platform ini efektif dalam menjangkau lebih banyak orang, termasuk mereka yang mungkin tidak terjangkau oleh fasilitas kesehatan tradisional. Selain itu, kecepatan respons dalam memberikan hasil screening, yang hanya membutuhkan waktu 2 jam, turut mempercepat proses diagnosis dan penanganan. Secara keseluruhan, TB Hunter terbukti efektif dalam penemuan kasus dan memperkuat sistem deteksi serta penanggulangan TB di daerah dengan keterbatasan akses Kesehatan.
