Early childhood education is a crucial foundation for developing the character and potential of children as the nation's future generation. During early childhood, children experience a golden age, which is fundamental to the development of all aspects of their personality. One crucial aspect that needs to be developed is learning motivation. However, low learning motivation in early childhood remains a problem that impacts the educational process. Factors such as uninteresting learning, conventional learning methods, and the lack of use of interactive learning media can easily lead to children becoming bored and disinterested in learning. The development of digital technology presents opportunities in education through the use of digital educational games as learning media. Digital educational games provide an interactive learning approach, engage children's attention, and actively engage children in the learning process. The role of teachers as facilitators is crucial in guiding the use of digital educational games to support the development of children's cognitive, social, and emotional skills. This study aims to determine the relationship between the use of digital educational games and children's learning motivation. This study used a literature review method, compiling various relevant sources such as journals, books, scientific articles, and previous research on digital educational games and children's learning motivation. The study results show that the use of digital educational games can increase children's motivation to learn through more interactive, fun, and engaging learning. Furthermore, digital educational games can enhance student engagement, cognitive skills, creativity, problem-solving abilities, and teacher-student interaction during the learning process.
