Abstract

Religious counsellors play an important role in fostering religious life and maintaining religious harmony, particularly in Teluk Patipi District, FakFak Regency, West Papua Province. This study aims to analyse the role, strategies, and obstacles faced by religious counsellors in strengthening religious moderation and social cohesion. This is a qualitative study using a case study approach, through data collection from interviews, field observations, and documentation studies. The results show that religious counsellors function not only as conveyors of religious teachings, but also as agents of social transformation who act as cultural mediators, moral educators, community facilitators, and agents of peace when problems arise between religious communities. The role of counsellors is very important in strengthening religious harmony. The strategies applied include communicative, educational, socio-practical, and adaptive approaches based on local wisdom, such as the philosophy of ‘One Stove, Three Stones’. However, there are various structural, competency, and socio-ideological obstacles, including limited resources, digital literacy challenges, and resistance to religious moderation that religious counselors must face. This study concludes that the success of religious counsellors in multicultural societies depends on their ability to adapt to the local context, build effective communication, and apply inclusive counselling methods. Thus, religious counsellors play an important role in strengthening religious harmony, maintaining social cohesion, and building a faithful, characterful, and harmonious society amid the dynamics of modernisation and globalisation.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the ethical challenges of digital communication in Islam as encountered in the phenomenon of hijabsters on social media, and to offer solutions to the emerging issues. Employing a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, the study is supported by non-participant digital observation and qualitative content analysis. Data were collected through observations of hijabsters posts on Instagram, TikTok, and X (formerly Twitter), which were then categorized based on recurring themes, such as clothing style, messages in captions, use of Islamic symbols, and public responses in the comments section. The findings reveal that the hijabsters phenomenon raises several ethical concerns, including violations of modesty norms, the commodification of Islamic symbols, and covert exhibitionism in digital spaces. The diverse audience responses ranging from praise to sharp criticism reflect a shifting boundary of norms and evolving public interpretations of Muslim female identity. This study highlights the urgent need for clearer regulations regarding religious content online, as well as the importance of digital literacy education that integrates Islamic values such as modesty, politeness, and media responsibility. Practically, the study serves as a reference for educators, parents, and Muslim communities in fostering ethical digital understanding among youth. Theoretically, it contributes to the development of Islamic digital communication ethics discourse within the context of new media culture, while enriching scholarly perspectives on religious identity and self-expression in the digital era.

Abstract

Komunikasi terapeutik merupakan komponen esensial dalam praktik keperawatan jiwa karena berperan dalam membangun hubungan saling percaya serta mendukung keberhasilan terapi pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas komunikasi terapeutik dalam penanganan pasien dengan gangguan jiwa melalui pendekatan tinjaun literatur review. Pencarian artikel dilakukan melalui database Google Scholar dengan menggunakan kata kunci terkait komunikasi terapeutik, gangguan jiwa, stigma sosial, mengelola pasien dan hubungan perawat–pasien. Sebanyak 25 artikel ditemukan, dan setelah melalui proses seleksi berdasarkan kriteria inklusi, diperoleh 13 artikel yang dianalisis menggunakan teknik content analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi terapeutik berkontribusi signifikan terhadap pengendalian halusinasi, penurunan risiko perilaku kekerasan, peningkatan kepuasan pasien, serta perbaikan hubungan interpersonal. Selain itu, efektivitas dalam komunikasi terapeutik juga dipengaruhi oleh kompetensi dan motivasi perawat, dukungan keluarga, serta faktor lingkungan sosial dan budaya. Dengan demikian, komunikasi terapeutik perlu diimplementasikan secara konsisten dan terstruktur dalam praktik keperawatan jiwa guna meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan kesehatan mental secara komprehensif.Kata Kunci: komunikasi terapeutik, mengelola pasien, stigma sosial, gangguan jiwa, hubungan perawat-pasien.faktor lingkungan sosial dan budaya. Dengan demikian, komunikasi terapeutik perlu diimplementasikan secara konsisten dan terstruktur dalam praktik keperawatan jiwa guna meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan kesehatan mental secara komprehensif.

Abstract

The high demand for high-quality higher education graduates encourages study programs to ensure that their curricula are on target. Therefore, curriculum development must involve graduate users so that the results can address problems and job market needs. This study aims to capture the satisfaction of graduate users of the Islamic Guidance and Counseling Study Program (BPI) at UIN Walisongo Semarang and to formulate the direction of curriculum development based on Outcome-Based Education (OBE), which focuses on da'wah competency. This study employs a qualitative method, collecting data through closed questionnaires, in-depth interviews, and discussion group forums with graduate users. The results of the study indicate that the portrait of graduate user satisfaction falls into the very good category, particularly in aspects such as ethics, cooperation, communication skills, and the use of information technology. Based on the results of the evaluation of graduate user satisfaction, the BPI Study Program formulated a Body of Knowledge (BoK) that makes da'wah the core of the OBE curriculum development. In this case, the four main disciplines that intersect with da'wah, namely, counseling, communication, guidance, and counseling, are the basis for the formation of the curriculum and courses. This study suggests that the OBE curriculum based on da'wah competency should continue to be improved so that it can meet the needs of the job market and be relevant in developing da'wah for the advancement of human civilization.   Abstrak Tingginya tuntutan kualitas lulusan pendidikan tinggi mendorong program studi untuk memastikan kurikulumnya tepat sasaran. Untuk itu, pengembangan kurikulum harus melibatkan pengguna lulusan sehingga hasilnya mampu menjawab permasalahan serta kebutuhan pasar kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memotret kepuasan pengguna lulusan Program Studi Bimbingan dan Penyuluhan Islam (BPI) di UIN Walisongo Semarang serta untuk merumuskan arah pengembangan kurikulum berbasis Outcome-Based Education (OBE) yang berfokus pada kompetensi dakwah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui angket tertutup, wawancara mendalam, dan forum grup disscussion dengan pengguna lulusan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa potret kepuasan pengguna lulusan berada pada kategori sangat baik, terutama dalam aspek etika, kerja sama, kemampuan komunikasi, dan penggunaan teknologi informasi. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi kepuasan pengguna lulusan tersebut, Program studi BPI merumuskan Body of knowledge (BoK) yang menjadikan dakwah sebagai inti dari pengembangan kurikulum OBE. Dalam hal ini, empat disiplin ilmu utama yang beririsan dengan dakwah, yaitu penyuluhan, komunikasi, konseling, dan bimbingan, menjadi dasar dalam pembentukan kurikulum dan mata kuliah. Penelitian ini menyarankan agar kurikulum OBE yang berbasis kompetensi dakwah terus disempurnakan agar dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pasar kerja dan relevan dalam pengembangan dakwah untuk kemajuan peradaban umat.
