Abstract

Pregnancy is often accompanied by biomechanical and hormonal changes that can lead to pelvic girdle pain and impact activity limitations and a reduced quality of life for pregnant women. One non-pharmacological approach that can be provided is physiotherapy intervention in the form of functional stability exercise (FSE), which focuses on strengthening the core muscles, pelvic floor muscles, and lumbopelvic stabilizer muscles. This study aims to determine the effect of functional stability exercise on reducing pelvic pain in pregnant women. The type of study used is a quasi-experimental study with a pre- and post-test design without a control group. The study involved 10 pregnant women experiencing pelvic pain and were given FSE intervention for 8 weeks with a frequency of twice daily and 10 repetitions of each exercise.Pain levels were measured using the Verbal Descriptive Scale (VDS) before and after the intervention. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test because the data were not normally distributed. The results showed a significant decrease in pelvic pain levels after the FSE intervention with a p value <0.05. This indicates that functional stability exercise is effective in reducing pelvic pain in pregnant women. Therefore, FSE can be recommended as a safe and effective physiotherapy intervention to help reduce pelvic pain and improve the comfort and functional ability of pregnant women during pregnancy. The method to be used in this extension is in the form of a presentation by modeling some stretching exercises and using the Leaflet media. Reserch methods. The reserch Ergonomic position assessment using measurements with the REBA (Rapid Entire Body Assessment), performed 2 measurements, namely pre and post test. The result. sthe average REBA score obtained before counseling is 3,851 with an average action level of 1,629 and after counseling the average results are obtained average REBA score of 2.74 and an average action level of 1.529. Based on these results it was found that REBA scores after counseling had decreased by an average of 1,111 while decreases in action levels occurred in 10 tailors with an average of 0.37 from action level 2 (moderate risk) to 1 (low risk). Although the decrease in action level was only found in 10 people, the REBA score in 19 tailors had decreased. Counseling for neck pain prevention and education of ergonomic positions in PT Garmen Perkasa's tailors can reduce the risk of musculoskletal disorder, increase worker productivity, produce quality and reduce additional costs to be incurred, so that the profits derived by the company also increase. Abstract

Introduction: Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury often delays athletes’ return to sport. Psychological Readiness to Return to Sport is a key factor in rehabilitation success. Compassionate Care, emphasizing empathy and emotional support, may enhance psychological readiness. To examine the effect of Compassionate Care-based physiotherapy on Psychological Readiness to Return to Sport among athletes following ACL injury. A quasi-experimental pretest-posttest control group study involved 60 athletes with ACL injury. The intervention group received Compassionate Care-based physiotherapy, while the control group received conventional physiotherapy for 12 weeks. Psychological readiness was assessed using the ACL-Return to Sport after Injury Scale (ACL-RSI). The intervention group showed significantly greater improvement in ACL-RSI scores than the control group (p<0.05). Confidence and motivation increased, while fear of reinjury decreased. Compassionate Care-based physiotherapy positively improves athletes’ psychological readiness to return to sport after ACL injury.
