Cases of appendicitis and deaths caused by appendicitis cases are increasing every year. One of the effects that appear in post-appendectomy patients is pain. Pain is an experience that is expressed differently by each person. Pain management is carried out with pharmacological and non-pharmacological techniques, one of which is the application of early mobilization. Objective : This study aims to determine the description of early mobilization in reducing pain in post-appendectomy patients. Method : This research is a quantitative descriptive case study on two post appendectomy patients, namely In.I and Mr.H who were treated at the Vita Insani Pematangsiantar Hospital. Early mobilization intervention was given for 3 consecutive days to each patient. Evaluation was carried out using the SOAP format to assess changes in the pain scale. Results : The results of the study showed that the application of early mobilization can reduce pain in post-appendectomy patients where subject I experienced pain with a scale of 7 to a scale of 3 and subject II experienced pain from a scale of 8 to a scale of 3. The application of early mobilization is effective in reducing pain in post-appendectomy patients. Nurses can also perform and utilize the application of early mobilization in reducing pain in post-appendectomy patients. Conclusion : Implementation of Early Mobilization for three days has been proven to be effective in reducing pain in post-appendectomy patients, so it can be used as a non-pharmacological intervention. Menurut WHO (World Health Organization) pasien post op Apendiktomi pada tahun 2020 terdapat 80 juta jiwa post apendiktomi diseluruh rumah sakit didunia. Salah satu akibat yang dimunculkan pada pasien post apendiktomi adalah nyeri. Penatalaksanaan nyeri dilakukan dengan teknik non farmakologi, salah satunya penerapan mobilisasi dini. Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran dari mobilisasi dini dalam menurunkan nyeri pada pasien post apendiktomi. Metode : Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan desaian penelitian deskriptif melalui pendekatan studi kasus yang terdiri dari wawancara, observasi dokumentasi. Sampel yang diambil sebanyak dua responden pada pasien post apendiktomi, yaitu Tn.I dan Tn.H yang dirawat di rumah sakit vita insani pematangsiantar. Hasil : Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan mobilisasi dini dapat menurunkan nyeri pada pasien post apendiktomi dimana Tn. I mengalami nyeri dengan skala 7 menjadi skala 3 dan Tn. H mengalami nyeri dari skala 8 menjadi skala 3. Penerapan mobilisasi dini efektif dalam menurunkan nyeri pada pasien post apendiktomi. Perawat juga bisa melakukan dan memanfaatkan penerapan mobilisasi dini dalam menurunkan nyeri pada pasien post apendiktomi Hipertermia sulit melakukan aktivitas. Kesimpulan : Implementasi mobilisasi dini selama tiga hari terbukti efektif mengurangi nyeri pada pasien post apendiktomi, sehingga dapat dijadikan intervensi nonfarmakologis.
