Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of murabahah financing, Islamic service ethics, and service accessibility on customer commitment at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Palopo Branch Office. This study was conducted as an effort to fill the gap in previous research which generally focused more on the aspects of customer satisfaction and loyalty, while customer commitment as a form of long-term relationship is still relatively rarely studied in depth. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The population in this study is all active customers of BSI Palopo Branch Office which is 23,818 customers. The sample was determined using the Slovin formula so that as many as 100 respondents were obtained by purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire, then analyzed using multiple linear regression, classical assumption test, t test, F test, and determination coefficient with the help of SPSS software. The results of the study show that partially murabahah financing has a positive and significant influence on customer commitment. Meanwhile, Islamic service ethics and service accessibility did not have a significant impact, although both showed a positive relationship direction. Simultaneously, these three variables have been proven to have a significant effect on customer commitment. The value of the determination coefficient shows that the research model is able to explain some of the variations in customer commitment. This study has limitations because it was only conducted at one research site with a relatively limited number of respondents, so generalization of results needs to be done carefully. Therefore, further research is recommended to expand the coverage of the region and add other variables in order to obtain more comprehensive results. This research makes a new contribution by integrating murabahah financing, Islamic service ethics, and service accessibility in explaining customer commitment in the context of Islamic banking at the local level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Islamic financial literacy, access to Islamic financing, and entrepreneurial motivation on Family Economic Resilience in Luwu Raya with social support as a moderating variable. This study employs a quantitative approach using primary data collected through a questionnaire distributed to single parents who are micro and small business owners in Luwu Raya. The data were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method with the assistance of the SmartPLS 4 software to test both direct effects and moderating effects among the variables. The results of the study indicate that entrepreneurial motivation has a positive and significant effect on family economic resilience, whereas Islamic financial literacy and access to Islamic microfinance do not show a significant effect. Social support also does not show a significant moderating effect. These findings suggest that individual internal factors play a more dominant role than external factors in strengthening family economic resilience. This study highlights the importance of strengthening entrepreneurial motivation in supporting family economic resilience among single mothers who are micro-entrepreneurs. This study expands the body of research on Family Economic Resilience by examining the relationship between Islamic financial literacy, access to Islamic microfinance, entrepreneurial motivation, and social support in the context of single mothers who are microentrepreneurs.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of economic perception, cultural values, and supporting infrastructure on the acceptance of Muslim-Friendly Tourism, with community resistance serving as a moderating variable in North Toraja Regency. Using a quantitative approach with Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), the research analyzes questionnaire data from local respondents. The results show that economic perception (T = 2.105; p = 0.029), cultural values (T = 2.086; p = 0.037), and supporting infrastructure (T = 3.780; p = 0.000) significantly affect tourism acceptance. Community resistance moderates these relationships by weakening the effects of economic perception (T = 2.288; p = 0.004) and cultural values (T = 2.671; p = 0.015), while strengthening the positive influence of supporting infrastructure (T = 2.027; p = 0.005). Overall, the findings highlight that acceptance of Muslim-Friendly Tourism in non-Muslim regions is shaped not only by economic benefits, cultural norms, and facility availability, but also by the ability to manage community resistance so that tourism initiatives remain aligned with local identity and cultural values.
