Abstract

However, environmental monitoring and cultivation cycle management are still commonly performed manually, resulting in inefficiencies and potential recording errors. This study aims to develop an integrated system based on the Internet of Things (IoT), web services, and mobile applications to support both mushroom house monitoring and cultivation cycle management. The system was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology, consisting of the requirements planning, user design, construction, and cutover phases. The proposed system utilizes an ESP32 microcontroller, a DHT22 sensor for temperature and humidity monitoring, relay modules for actuator control, web services for data exchange, a database for data storage, and a mobile application as the user interface. System evaluation demonstrated that all functional requirements operated successfully, including sensor data acquisition, data transmission to the server, database storage, real-time monitoring through the mobile application, baglog management, planting records, growth status monitoring, harvest recording, and actuator control. The integration of IoT devices, web services, databases, and mobile applications enables more structured, well-documented, and accessible environmental monitoring and cultivation management. The proposed system is expected to improve the efficiency of oyster mushroom cultivation while providing farmers with comprehensive digital support for monitoring environmental conditions and managing the entire cultivation lifecycle.
