Pakcoy (Brassica rapa subsp. chinensis) is a leafy vegetable widely consumed by the community and requires adequate nutrient availability to support optimal seedling growth. The utilization of organic waste as liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) represents an environmentally friendly alternative while contributing to agricultural waste management. Onion peel waste contains essential nutrients and organic compounds that have the potential to be utilized as raw material for LOF production. However, information regarding the effectiveness of onion peel-based LOF on pakcoy seedling growth remains limited, particularly across different application concentrations during the seedling stage. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of onion peel LOF on pakcoy seedling growth based on plant height, leaf number, and leaf color parameters. The experiment employed a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of four treatments: control, 20% LOF, 30% LOF, and 40% LOF. Data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) at a 5% significance level. The results indicated that the 30% LOF treatment produced the highest average plant height and leaf number compared with the other treatments. However, statistical analysis revealed no significant effects on plant height, leaf number, or leaf color (p>0.05). Nutrient analysis showed that the onion peel LOF contained 0.03% nitrogen, 0.02% phosphorus, and 0.58% potassium, with potassium being the dominant nutrient. These findings imply that onion peel waste has potential as an additional nutrient source and biostimulant for sustainable crop cultivation. The results indicate that onion peel liquid organic fertilizer has the potential to be used as a supplementary fertilizer; however, it has not been able to significantly improve pakcoy seedling growth at the tested concentrations..
