Abstract

Background: Emergency services provided to fracture patients include splinting, which is a nursing action to relax or rest (immobilize) the injured body part using a splint with the aim of reducing pain and preventing excessive bone displacement. Splinting is a technique used to immobilize or stabilize a broken limb. Immobilization can reduce pain, swelling, muscle spasms , epistaxis, and the risk of fat embolism Purpose: The aim of this study is to analyze the development of standard operating procedures for splinting in patients with fractures in the emergency room of Balimed Hospital, Denpasar. Methods: The method used was a case report with the ADDIE approach, which is an abbreviation of the stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Its use is for various forms of product development such as models, strategies, methods, or media. Results: The same thing as HIPPII, (2019) which informs that the steps and principles of writing an SOP are by implementing a policy review that underlies a procedure or work process, considering the procedure, when the SOP was created, searching for literature and other related information that supports the procedure, seeking input from staff and officers, writing down the equipment or facilities needed, determining who is authorized to carry out the procedure, writing down indications or contraindications and underlining risks, warnings, and other things that are needed. Conclusion: The effectiveness of the SOP that has been developed on patients and evaluating patient comfort and controlling pain due to fractures experienced.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Kesehatan masyarakat di wilayah pedesaan sangat dipengaruhi oleh perilaku gizi dan pengelolaan lingkungan. Desa Sudimara, Kecamatan Tabanan, merupakan salah satu daerah dengan permasalahan gizi anak balita serta rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga. Kegiatan ini dilakukan untuk skrining kesehatan masyarakat, meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang gizi seimbang bagi anak balita serta menumbuhkan kesadaran terhadap pengelolaan sampah yang berkelanjutan. Meliputi penyuluhan gizi dan praktik pembuatan Makanan Pendamping ASI (MP-ASI) berbahan pangan lokal, pemeriksaan kesehatan masyarakat (tekanan darah, GDS, kolesterol, dan asam urat), serta edukasi dan demonstrasi pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga melalui pemilahan, pembuatan kompos, dan eco-enzym. Kegiatan diikuti oleh 40 peserta yang terdiri atas ibu rumah tangga, kader Posyandu, dan perangkat desa. Sebanyak 85–90% peserta memahami cara penyusunan MP-ASI bergizi seimbang, sementara 70% peserta mulai menerapkan pemilahan sampah di rumah. Kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada pengetahuan peserta, baik dalam aspek gizi maupun pengelolaan sampah. Selain itu, masyarakat menunjukkan antusiasme untuk membentuk Bank Sampah Desa Sudimara sebagai bentuk keberlanjutan program. Kata Kunci: Gizi Balita, Kesehatan,Skrining, Pengelolaan Sampah.  ABSTRACT Public health in rural areas is greatly influenced by nutritional behavior and environmental management. Sudimara Village, Tabanan District, is one of the areas with nutritional problems for toddlers and low public awareness of household waste management. This activity was carried out to screen the public health, increase public knowledge about balanced nutrition for toddlers and raise awareness of sustainable waste management. Includes nutrition counseling and practice of making Complementary Breastfeeding Food (MP-ASI) from local food ingredients, public health checks (blood pressure, GDS, cholesterol, and uric acid), as well as education and demonstration of household waste management through sorting, composting, and eco-enzyme production. The activity was attended by 40 participants consisting of housewives, Posyandu cadres, and village officials. As many as 85–90% of participants understood how to prepare balanced nutritional MP-ASI, while 70% of participants began to implement waste sorting at home. This activity showed a significant increase in participants' knowledge, both in terms of nutrition and waste management. Furthermore, the community demonstrated enthusiasm for establishing the Sudimara Village Waste Bank as a form of program sustainability. Keywords: Toddler Nutrition, Health, Screening, Waste Management
