Abstract

Orderly and transparent financial management of Neighborhood Associations (Rukun Tetangga/RT) is an essential factor in supporting accountability in community fund management. One of the common challenges faced by RT administrators is the continued use of manual cash-book recording systems, which may lead to recording errors, data loss, and delays in preparing financial reports. This Community Service Program (PKM) aimed to optimize digital-based RT cash management through training and mentoring on the use of Microsoft Excel for the administrators of RT 04/RW 04, Bambu Kuning, Batam. The implementation methods included initial observation, socialization, training sessions, hands-on practice, and continuous mentoring. The training materials covered the creation of digital cash books, recording of cash inflows and outflows, the application of basic Microsoft Excel formulas, and the preparation of automated cash reports. The results demonstrated an improvement in participants’ knowledge and skills in managing RT finances digitally. After participating in the program, the participants were able to record financial transactions and independently generate cash reports using Microsoft Excel. This activity had a positive impact on enhancing the efficiency of financial administration, simplifying report preparation, and promoting transparency and accountability in the management of RT funds.

Abstract

Keberhasilan pengembangan Sistem Informasi Akademik dipengaruhi oleh pemilihan metode pengembangan perangkat lunak yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan organisasi. Beragamnya metode pengembangan yang tersedia sering kali menimbulkan kesulitan dalam menentukan alternatif terbaik karena masing-masing memiliki karakteristik dan tingkat efektivitas yang berbeda. Penelitian ini bertujuan menentukan prioritas metode pengembangan perangkat lunak untuk Sistem Informasi Akademik menggunakan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengevaluasi empat kriteria utama, yaitu waktu pengembangan, biaya pengembangan, fleksibilitas, dan risiko proyek terhadap empat alternatif metode, yaitu Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, dan Rapid Application Development (RAD). Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner yang diberikan kepada responden yang memahami proses pengembangan sistem informasi dan dianalisis menggunakan tahapan AHP, meliputi perbandingan berpasangan, perhitungan bobot prioritas, serta pengujian konsistensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fleksibilitas merupakan kriteria terpenting dengan bobot 55,8%, sedangkan nilai Consistency Ratio (CR) sebesar 0,039 menunjukkan bahwa penilaian responden konsisten. Berdasarkan prioritas global, Agile menempati peringkat pertama dengan nilai 0,357, diikuti Scrum (0,287), RAD (0,223), dan Waterfall (0,134). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa Agile merupakan metode yang paling direkomendasikan untuk pengembangan Sistem Informasi Akademik karena mampu memberikan fleksibilitas yang lebih tinggi dalam menghadapi perubahan kebutuhan sistem.

Abstract

Non-Performing Loans (NPLs) represent one of the most critical indicators in assessing the stability and financial health of banking institutions. An increasing NPL ratio may negatively affect profitability, liquidity, and overall banking performance, making accurate prediction models essential for effective credit risk management. This study proposes a predictive framework for estimating Non-Performing Loan levels using the Extreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost) algorithm combined with Explainable Data Mining techniques. The dataset consists of historical banking and financial indicators that influence loan repayment behavior. Data preprocessing stages include data cleaning, feature selection, normalization, and handling of missing values to improve model performance. The XGBoost model was employed due to its ability to handle complex nonlinear relationships and high-dimensional data efficiently. To enhance model transparency and interpretability, Explainable Data Mining techniques based on SHapley Additive exPlanations (SHAP) were applied to identify the contribution and importance of individual features affecting NPL predictions. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed XGBoost model achieves high predictive performance, outperforming conventional machine learning approaches in terms of accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, and Area Under the Curve (AUC). Furthermore, the explainability analysis reveals the most influential factors contributing to NPL levels, providing valuable insights for financial institutions and policymakers in developing proactive risk mitigation strategies. The findings indicate that integrating XGBoost with Explainable Data Mining not only improves prediction accuracy but also enhances the interpretability and trustworthiness of credit risk assessment models. This approach can support data-driven decision-making processes and strengthen the sustainability of banking operations in increasingly complex financial environments.

Abstract

Proses pengumpulan soal ujian di perguruan tinggi masih banyak dilakukan secara manual melalui surat elektronik atau aplikasi pesan, sehingga sering terjadi keterlambatan, kesulitan pemantauan, dan kurang optimalnya proses validasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang Sistem Informasi Monitoring Proses Pengumpulan Soal Ujian berbasis web untuk mendukung pengumpulan, validasi, dan monitoring soal secara terintegrasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model Prototyping. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan PHP dan MySQL dengan empat jenis pengguna, yaitu administrator, dosen, ketua program studi, dan dekan. Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan Black Box Testing untuk memastikan seluruh fungsi sistem berjalan sesuai kebutuhan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mempercepat proses pengumpulan soal, mempermudah monitoring status dan validasi, meningkatkan ketepatan waktu pengumpulan, serta menghasilkan informasi yang lebih akurat dan terdokumentasi. Sistem ini diharapkan mendukung efektivitas administrasi ujian dan transformasi digital tata kelola akademik di perguruan tinggi
