Abstract

Hypertension is a global health problem with high prevalence and is a major risk factor for cardiovascular diseases. Posyandu cadres have a strategic role in early detection and health promotion in the community, yet their knowledge about hypertension is often limited. This community service activity aims to increase the knowledge of Posyandu cadres about hypertension through health education in Godog and Tanjung Sari Villages in Karangpawitan District, Garut Regency. The methods used were interactive lectures and group discussions which involved 33 Posyandu cadres. Evaluation was conducted using pre-test and post-test with a 15-question instrument. The results showed an increase in the average knowledge score from 12.55 to 13.21, with an increase in the percentage of cadres with good knowledge category from 75.8% to 87.9%. Health education demonstrated a tendency to improve the knowledge of Posyandu cadres, as indicated by the comparison of pre-test and post-test scores.

Abstract

Thesis is the final task that must be done by the student as one of the requirements in obtaining his bachelor degree. In the process of formulation of students meet various kinds of difficulties so that it becomes a pressure on students who will cause stress. Stress is a condition of physical and psychological pressure due to the demands of the self and the environment. Students who are preparing a thesis should be able to adapt in the face of stress and obstacles they experienced. Stress should be anticipated and managed appropriately so that the process of adaptation in the preparation of the thesis does not cause a maladtive range. This study uses a comparative descriptive method. The sample is determined by simple random sampling approach, with 84 people consisting of 38 regular students and 46 transfer students, while for the data collecting of the researcher using questioner. After testing the hypothesis at the stress level obtained results p value: 0,554> alpha (α = 0,05). This indicates that Ha is rejected, ie there is no difference in stress level between regular students and transfer students. With the average result of normal stress level. While in hypothesis testing of adaptation process got p value: 0,024 <alpha (α = 0,05), this mean Ha accepted that show difference of process of adaptation between student of regular and transfer student. With the difference of transfer students more maladaptif than regular students are more adaptive, this happens because transfer students experience some obstacles in the process of arranging the scheme of them is because the focus of attention transfer students diverted by work and family. It is expected that the education can improve the support, facilities and policies to support the smoothness of students in the process of preparing the thesis. For students who will prepare the thesis is expected to add insight about stress and adaptation so that it can be a motivation in completing the process of preparing the thesis.

Abstract

The accuracy of blood pressure measurement determines the success of early detection of hypertension. Posyandu cadres as the frontline of health services in the community need to have good knowledge about correct blood pressure measurement procedures. This community service activity aimed to provide understanding of blood pressure measurement procedures to Posyandu cadres through theoretical education. The methods used were interactive lectures and group discussions covering patient preparation, body position, cuff size selection, measurement technique, and factors affecting results. The activity was attended by 33 Posyandu cadres in the Cempaka Community Health Center work area. The evaluation was conducted formatively through questions and answers, interactive discussions, and observations of participants' ability to re-explain the material that had been presented. The evaluation results showed that most cadres were able to identify the stages of the correct blood pressure measurement procedure, including patient preparation, body positioning, cuff size selection, and factors that influence measurement results. The theoretical education provided an initial understanding of blood pressure measurement procedures and served as a foundation before implementing practical training using the device.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis urgensi Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) dalam membentuk karakter warga negara global yang berlandaskan nilai-nilai Pancasila di tengah arus globalisasi yang semakin intensif. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dengan menganalisis berbagai sumber literatur relevan, seperti buku, jurnal ilmiah, dan dokumen kebijakan pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PPKn memiliki peran strategis sebagai instrumen fundamental dalam menyeimbangkan penguasaan kompetensi global dengan penguatan identitas nasional. Pembelajaran PPKn tidak hanya membekali peserta didik dengan pengetahuan tentang hak dan kewajiban sebagai warga negara, tetapi juga menanamkan kesadaran kritis terhadap isu-isu global seperti ketimpangan sosial, konflik, dan kerusakan lingkungan. Nilai-nilai Pancasila, terutama sila kemanusiaan yang adil dan beradab serta keadilan sosial, menjadi fondasi etis dalam menyikapi tantangan global agar tidak kehilangan jati diri bangsa. PPKn mendorong terciptanya warga negara yang adaptif, toleran, dan solutif, namun tetap berpihak pada kepentingan bangsa. Dengan demikian, PPKn sangat urgen untuk diintegrasikan secara holistik dalam kurikulum guna mempersiapkan generasi emas yang unggul secara intelektual sekaligus berkarakter Pancasila.
